An EP launch, an album launch, and a bunch of music from space. Love ya Notts xo

MONDAY

The haunting Indie enigma that is RE TEU, launches his debut EP this week, and he’s throwing an Acoustic Rooms party to give it a proper welcome to this world. Known for his incredibly distinctive vocal, eerie soundscapes, and massive drum sounds. Hopefully he’ll bash out a drum kit and go full on Jack Garratt on us. Who knows? Either way, it’ll be pretty special, as his performances always are.

MOLLIE RALPH kicks off the night with her soulful Acoustic-Pop sounds. And a belter of a voice too. Then there’s KATIE COOPER whose Singer-Songwriter vibes full of blissful melodies, and beaut storytelling. And finally pre the haunting Teu of Re, we have LUNAH – the latest project of Ben Mcconnachie of CHROMA BAY. Electronic, mystical vibes that’ll get your mind and soul pumping.

FRIDAY

Our Artist of the Month for May, BRAD DEAR AND THE MARCH, launch their debut album this Friday. And to celebrate they’re marching (soz) on down to The Angel Microbrewery to throw a big old knees up celebration. Bringing Folk-y, Raucous-y goodness, this lot are bound to get ya throwing that lager up in air whilst ya belt along to all those huge choruses.

Supporting we have the delicate acoustic bliss of CHLOE RODGERS. A haunting, powerful vocal, paired with some intricate picky (is that the right word) guitar playing. She’ll probs leave the venue silent (for the right reasons, obvs). And then there’s GEORGE GADD, bringing all the Punk-y, Folk-y, Cheek-y goodness you’d ever need to get yersen in the mood for Brad and Co.

FRIDAY

Three ace bands (THE HIJINKS, SOFT GIRLS AND BOYS CLUB, FUTURE SHINJUKU). Play an ace venue (The Chameleon). For an ace price (4 squid).

THE HIJINKS kick the night off with… well, a lot of hijinkery. Psychedelic beauty in the form of Shoegaze-y, Post-Punk-y goodness. Topped off w/ Jimi’s incredibly distinctive vocal tone. They’re well… ace.

SOFT GIRLS AND BOYS CLUB are up next bringing you all the Dream-Pop goodness your brain / ears / eyes could ever ask for. Euphoric vocals, some funky riffs, and some beaut distortion-y goodness. Tasty.

And then there’s FUTURE SHINJUKU rounding the night off with their ‘Futuristic Brit Prog’. I didn’t know what that meant either, but after listening to their Soundcloud you’ll understand. If Prog is still around in the year 2125, it’ll probs sound like this. And you can say you were there at the start. You fucking hipster, you.
