\nTALKING ABOUT MAKING A LIVING DOING WHAT YOU LOVE.” font_family=””][vc_column_text]SO WHAT IS THE SCHOOL TOUR \/ WHY SHOULD I CARE?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

– We will talk about the current vibrancy in the Nottingham music scene as well the buzz of doing what you love for a living, using that as a catalyst to get students thinking about what they want to do in their lives be that be a musician, a doctor or a fire-fighter.
\n– It’s free.
\n– This event is aimed at secondary schools (we may visit primary if we have spare slots)
\n– Nottingham and Nottinghamshire only.
\n– State schools only (if we have spare slots that no state school wants, we may then offer places to private schools).
\n– A lot of people give up their time to help make these events happen for free, as such we do ask that at least 50 students are in attendance, ideally at least 100.
\n– It helps, and acts as a good work experience opportunity for your sound\/ music\/ theatre students, if you have a sound set-up we can simply plug in to. But we can sort this ourselves if needed.<\/p>\n

The Spring 2023 School Tour took place between March 6th – March 10th 2023.<\/strong> We brought the epic ALT BLK ERA<\/strong> and TASH BIRD<\/strong> to Notts State schools, plus gave the usual talk on creative careers, music careers, and careers more generally.<\/p>\n

We visited Outwood Academy, Windmill, Queen Elizabeth Academy, Brunts Academy, Carlton Le Willows and Djanogly.<\/p>\n

The Autumn 2021 School Tour is done! This year we took the heroes ROB GREEN<\/strong> and CHLOE RODGERS<\/strong> to schools across the county and city. Sick to meet ya Portland, Retford Oaks Academy, Outwood Academy Valley, Tuxford Academy, South Notts Academy, Sutton Community Academy, Joseph Whittaker, Queen Elizabeth Academy, Kimberley School, Nottingham University Samworth Academy, Windmill, Wells Academy and Trinity.<\/p>\n
