Brought to you by Greenpeace and some wicked local artists, the proceeds from this event will go to help prevent oil drilling in the Arctic.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/breadchasersska?fref=ts\">BREADCHASERS<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nThe only way I can think of describing <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/breadchasersska?fref=ts\">BREADCHASERS<\/a><\/strong> live is like a Reggae Bull trapped in a Ska tearoom and the result is awesome. Expect a set of fun, charisma and bags of energy to raise your spirits and keep an eye peeled for the bands upcoming second album&#8230;<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/fightingeviliscool\">FIGHTING EVIL IS COOL<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nSix-piece madhouse <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/fightingeviliscool\">FIGHTING EVIL IS COOL<\/a><\/strong> are on next. Sure to fill their room with their Ska-Punk silliness, they\u2019ll bring skankers to the front of the stage like a tramp on chips. Set up in 2004 by Graham &#038; Mary Storrie following the tragic murder of their daughter, The Rosie May Memorial Fund benefits the Sheffield Paediatric Intensive Care Unit who gave amazing care for Rosie in her last 48 hours. With an incredible smorgasbord of local talent dedicated to the event, it really is a gig worth going to.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<strong>INDOOR STAGE<\/strong><br \/>\nMaking some noise on the indoor stage are some of the creme de la creme of Notts bands. Stoner Rockers <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/TheFadeBand\">THE FADE<\/a><\/strong> kick things off at 3 with a whiskey-fuelled set which is followed by Alt-Metal powerhouse <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/Lucky-Fate\/275280772509827\">LUCKY FATE<\/a><\/strong>. FSN Finalists and all-round nice guys <strong><a href=\"www.facebook.com\/TheGorgeousChans\">THE GORGEOUS CHANS<\/a><\/strong> will get you groovin\u2019 with their impossibly catchy World Pop at 5 before<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/MagdallaBand\">MAGDALLA<\/a><\/strong> will have you moshing with their no frills Rock. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/AlexaHawksworthMusic?fref=ts\">ALEXA HAWKSWORTH<\/a><\/strong> will bring a more chilled pace with her gorgeous Acoustic Folk and Alt-Rockers <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/The-Ctrl\/147729555281192?ref=ts&#038;fref=ts\">THE CTRL<\/a><\/strong> and Indie quartet<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Prefontainetheband?fref=ts\"> PREFONTAINE<\/a><\/strong> close the stage at 8 and 9.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<strong>OUTDOOR STAGE<\/strong><br \/>\nThe outdoor Acoustic Stage is bringing some chilled vibez to the event. The ever-enchanting <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/anwynwilliamsmusic?fref=ts\">ANYWN WILLIAMS<\/a><\/strong> opens the stage at 2.15, a set which is followed by Spread The Love extraordinaire <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/josh.wheatley.313?fref=ts\">JOSH WHEATLEY<\/a><\/strong>. The talented<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/MattBlickUK?fref=ts\">MATT BLICK<\/a> <\/strong>is on at 3.15 with Acoustic prodigy <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/matt.humphries.904?fref=ts\">MATT HUMPHRIES<\/a><\/strong> in close pursuit. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/redbearrules?ref=ts&#038;fref=ts\">ADAM \u2018RED BEAR\u2019 CLARKSON<\/a><\/strong> and his Forest Pop will take centre stage at 4.15 before songbird <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/emmabladonjonesmusic?fref=ts\">EMMA BLADON JONES<\/a><\/strong>, soulful <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/chloeleamcshane\">CHLOE MCSHANE<\/a><\/strong> and simply amazing<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/marcreevesmusic?fref=ts\">MARC REEVES<\/a><\/strong> follow with their sets. From the largest number of entries we\u2019ve ever had, just six incredible artists have made it through to the<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ROCKCITYNOTTINGHAM?fref=ts\">Rock City<\/a><\/strong> final that take place this <strong>Sunday.<\/strong><br \/>\n<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"www.facebook.com\/TheGorgeousChans\">THE GORGEOUS CHANS<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nFirst up on to the legendary stage are six piece <strong><a href=\"www.facebook.com\/TheGorgeousChans\">THE GORGEOUS CHANS<\/a><\/strong>. With songs reminiscent of Vampire Weekend and the like, their quirky World Pop is rife with nifty hooks, tight harmonies and stick-in-your-head choruses.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/huskiesmusic\">HUSKIES<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nIndie quartet<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/huskiesmusic\">HUSKIES<\/a><\/strong> are having a pretty good time at the moment. As well as winning themselves a slot at this event, they\u2019ve also secured a slot on the BBC Introducing Stage at this year\u2019s <strong>Y-Not Festival<\/strong>. And with fantastically catchy Indie-Pop, it\u2019s not surprising why!<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"www.facebook.com\/misstashadean\">TASHA DEAN<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nOne of top scoring acts from the judges round, <strong><a href=\"www.facebook.com\/misstashadean\">TASHA DEAN<\/a><\/strong> will no doubt wow the audience too. Her effortlessly Soulful style is matched by incredible vocals and songs that have earnt her plays on 1Xtra, marking her as a star on the rise.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/sam.jones.19?directed_target_id=321592964640327\">SAM JONES<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nIndie Folkster <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/sam.jones.19?directed_target_id=321592964640327\">SAM JONES<\/a><\/strong> steps up to win your vote next. Sure to keep you rooted to the spot from his first song, his smooth \u2018n\u2019 silky vocals will bring some chilled-out vibes to the night. Watch out for folk force <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/sam.jones.19?directed_target_id=321592964640327\">SAM JONES<\/a><\/strong>!<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"www.loopholeproject.com\">LOOPHOLE PROJECT<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nNewbies to the Notts music scene, <strong><a href=\"www.loopholeproject.com\">LOOPHOLE PROJECT<\/a><\/strong> are the second act to get through on the judges vote. Nifty Electro hooks, the trio are gaining some serious recognition at the moment and intend to show you why this Sunday.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/FrankieRudolf\">FRANKIE RUDOLF<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nFinal act of the night is Wollaton lad <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/FrankieRudolf\">FRANKIE RUDOLF<\/a><\/strong>. Lovely vocals and brilliant Acoustic Folk tunes, Frankie\u2019s musical maturity defies his years and you\u2019ll be humming his tracks for days after.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nThis is a definite must for any Notts music lover.
