\nOur big brother Leftlion<\/a><\/strong> turns 10 this Friday <\/strong>and to celebrate this massive occasion, they\u2019ve teamed up with I\u2019m Not From London<\/a><\/strong> to throw the mother of all birthday bashes. With two stages serving up an absolute sm\u00f6rg\u00e5sbord of local treats, it\u2019s time to dust off your dancing shoes, head on over to The Corner<\/strong> & start your weekend here.

\nINDOOR STAGE<\/strong>
\nOur pals over at THE ELEMENTZ<\/a><\/strong> will be joining the fun with a rare live set featuring some of our fave exports including ESTHER<\/a>, FRAZER<\/a>, SKI & KARIZMA<\/a><\/strong>. A rare chance to see this supergroup in action! FSN 2012 victors THE AFTERDARK MOVEMENT<\/a><\/strong> are back with a motherf*cking bang this Summer and if their performance at this year\u2019s Waterfront is anything to go by, this set will not be suitable for the faint hearted. Having returned from tour with The Herbaliser, CAPPO<\/strong> will be showing just why he\u2019s one of our most established MCS before Stiff Kitten DJS<\/strong> spin the decks late into the night. Headlining the Indoor Stage is a super special mystery headliner who Leftlion are being all hush-hush about. Word is he\u2019s pretty good, but the only way you\u2019ll find out is by turning up…

\nTwo of Lefltion\u2019s own will be lending their hand to music for the night. Literature Editor JOHN MARRIOT<\/strong> & designer RAPHAEL ACHACHE<\/strong> (who you may also recognise from WE ARE AVENGERS<\/a> & ARSE FULL OF CHIPS<\/a><\/strong>) will be kicking off the Acoustic Stage proceedings before FSN runner-up and acoustic powerhouse SAM JONES<\/a><\/strong>. The Bard of Balledry GALLERY 47<\/a><\/strong> headlines the stage with a set that will leave you swooning.

\nThe Riverside Festival is an integral part of the Notts Summer calendar and this year is no exception! Taking place at Victoria Embankment, the kind folks at Nottingham City Council have pulled out all the stops to get some of the cream of the Notts crop for the music stage. With reigning FSN champs THE GORGEOUS CHANS<\/a><\/strong>, Part-time Chan and full-time Folkster JOE DANKS<\/a><\/strong>, Electro trio LOOPHOLE PROJECT<\/a><\/strong> & the soulful SAM BENNETT<\/a><\/strong> and loads more amazing acts on the bill, Riverside is gonna be as good as ever.

\nBut that’s not all that’s happening this year! Taking places just round the corner, Riverbank Bar<\/strong> will be joining the festivities this Saturday & Sunday<\/strong> with the first ever Intro Festival. This is a FREE event with all money made going towards Treetop Hospice<\/a><\/strong> – so bring some extra pennies for this incredible cause!

\nStarting at 12, this is 11 hours of formidable talent including the likes of 2011 FSN Finalists HARLIKINGS, Acoustic wonderboy JAMES GOOCH <\/a><\/strong>, Electro beauties ONEGIRLONEBOY<\/a><\/strong> & one-man band SHELTER POINT<\/strong> <\/a>.
