{"id":10889,"date":"2013-08-04T23:38:04","date_gmt":"2013-08-04T22:38:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nusic.org.uk\/wordpress\/?p=10889"},"modified":"2014-02-06T18:23:10","modified_gmt":"2014-02-06T18:23:10","slug":"notts-music-good-vibes-%e2%80%93-early-august-2013","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nusic.org.uk\/wordpress\/notts-music-good-vibes-%e2%80%93-early-august-2013\/","title":{"rendered":"NOTTS MUSIC GOOD VIBES \u2013 Early August 2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The latest good vibes\/ success headlines from the Nottingham music scene (that we know of)<\/strong>, please drop us a line if we\u2019ve missed anything significant (our definition of significant is something of national relevance) \u2013 nusic@leftlion.co.uk.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The month of love, July 2013, proved to be as mother flipping epic as we all hoped it would here in the Great County of Nottinghamshire.<\/strong> Quite a lot happening further afield too, since we last updated in the middle of July:<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/HarleighbluOfficial?fref=ts\">HARLEIGHBLU<\/a><\/strong> released her debut single on <strong><a href=\"www.tru-thoughts.co.uk\">Tru Thoughts<\/a><\/strong> receiving national airplay on <strong>1 Xtra, Radio One, Six Music &amp; XFM.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The head of music at Radio One declared his love of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/JoelBakerMusic?fref=ts\">JOEL BAKER<\/a><\/strong> &#8211; this is a big deal!<\/p>\n<p>The most Nottingham musician dominated <strong><a href=\"www.splendourfestival.com\">Splendour<\/a><\/strong> line-up ever massively outsold last year&#8217;s <strong>Dizzee Rascal<\/strong> event, how many cities could fill their biggest festival with nearly all homegrown talent?<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/amberofficialuk?fref=ts\">AMBER<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/JoelBakerMusic?fref=ts\">JOEL BAKER<\/a> &amp; <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Callum_SR\">SAINT RAYMOND<\/a><\/strong> were all confirmed for the BBC Introducing stages at <strong>Reading and Leeds<\/strong>, lets hope they get on the telly!<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/aplasticrose?fref=ts\">A PLASTIC ROSE<\/a> <\/strong>received some Radio One love from Huw Stephens.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/liambaileymusic?fref=ts\">LIAM BAILEY<\/a><\/strong> has been getting national radio love all over the place for his collab with <strong>Shy Fx <\/strong><em>&#8216;Soon Come By&#8217;<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"twitter.com\/adysuleiman\">ADY SULEIMAN<\/a><\/strong> got his first<strong> Zane Lowe <\/strong>play!<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/djdally\">DJ DALLY<\/a><\/strong> ft Deep Singh &amp; Mr TS went NUMBER ONE in the iTunes Asian Chart!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The latest good vibes\/ success headlines from the Nottingham music scene (that we know of), please drop us a line if we\u2019ve missed anything significant (our definition of significant is something of national relevance) \u2013 nusic@leftlion.co.uk.
