His signature Indie Pop is a\u00a0a suberb balance of sharp lyrics and grittier meanings, subtly disguised by Callum&#8217;s cheeky charisma and youthful musicality. Having only signed to Asylum\/Atlantic Records last month, this is sure to be the start of a long and exciting <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/SaintRaymondMusic?fref=ts\">SAINT RAYMOND<\/a><\/strong> journey.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Keeping it in the Nottingham family, Callum&#8217;s support for the night will be (probably) the most Soulful parliamentary bag carrier ever <strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/JoelBakerMusic?fref=ts\">JOEL BAKER.<\/a> <\/strong>A husky, rock voice and an acoustic guitar, this \u2018fantastic singer-songwriter\u2019 (Zane Lowe\u2019s words \u2013 not mine) has a Soulful edge that sets him apart. An incredible knack for writing incredible songs, prepare to be blown away by Mr Baker.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>PRICE: \u00a36*<br \/>\nDOORS: 7pm<\/p>\n<p>*Unfortunately (but not surprisingly) this event has now sold out. Given what a good night it should be, keep an eye or two peeled for any tickets going &#8211; you won&#8217;t regret it!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>GIG TWO<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ImNotFromLondonEvents?fref=ts\">I&#8217;m Not From London<\/a><\/strong> are taking over <strong>The Golden Fleece this Thursday<\/strong> for a top notch night of tasty musical grub.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On the bill are \u00a0Noir Wave Indie outfit\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/inisolationofficial\">IN ISOLATION<\/a>.<\/strong> We don\u2019t know what Noir Wave means either, but these lads do it well. Mixing 80\u2032s new-wave synth with soft punk undertones, this band are well worth seeing live and trying not to dance to them is like trying not to lick your lips after munching on donuts.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Bursting with Punk-like energy and electrifying rhythms, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/CarcassFitForHounds\/info\">CARCASS\u00a0FIT FOR HOUNDS <\/a><\/strong>are the new band on the block ready to take you back to the bygone days when Punk was alive and kicking. Not a lot is known about these guys (except for that the drummer is no other than <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/nusic.extended.agency\/fsn\">FSN 2012<\/a> <\/strong>runner up<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/CarcassFitForHounds\/info\"> <\/a><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/CarcassFitForHounds\/info\">JOE DANKS<\/a>)<\/strong> but the four tracks they have on their<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/carcassfitforhounds.bandcamp.com\/\"> Bandcamp <\/a><\/strong>has enough energy to make your ears bleed.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Experimental Hardcore Metal from newbies <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/knifecutter.bandcamp.com\/\">KNIFE CUTTER<\/a>. <\/strong>With huge, tumultuous riffs and endless energy, this band is not for the faint hearted, so much so you&#8217;ll struggle to believe there&#8217;s only two of them. The kind of band you&#8217;re Nana would probably hate, but we like them so it&#8217;s alright.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>London lads <strong>Spectres<\/strong> complete the bill.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>PRICE: FREE!<br \/>\nDOORS: 8pm<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>GIG THREE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Another<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ImNotFromLondonEvents?fref=ts\"> INFL<\/a><\/strong> gift this <strong>Friday<\/strong> at <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/jamcafenottingham\">The Jamcafe<\/a><\/strong>. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/158899214313880\/?ref=2&amp;ref_dashboard_filter=upcoming\">A Very Good Gig Indeed<\/a><\/strong> is&#8230;well&#8230;a very good gig indeed and won&#8217;t cost you a penny! Who said the best things in life aren&#8217;t free?!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Alternative Rockers The Dead Souls bring their no-frills approach to the forefront in a 90\u2032s Grunge revival\u00a0that will titillate any Cobain worshipping, plaid wearing music lover. GQ described them as a &#8216;modern British band playing like they&#8217;re trapped in a 1992 Seattle dive bar&#8217;, and that pretty much hits the nail on the head. Loud, atmospheric, Grunge perfection.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Headlining are Nottingham newbies <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/aplasticrose\">A PLASTIC ROSE.<\/a><\/strong> The band have already notched up several plays on a little station called Radio 1 with their single \u2018<em>Kids Don\u2019t Behave Like This\u2019<\/em> . The\u00a0choruses are big, the vocals are fragile and the whole package is epic &#8211;\u00a0Angsty Pop-Rock that\u2019s alight with Post-Grunge touches.
