{"id":12104,"date":"2014-01-12T19:30:46","date_gmt":"2014-01-12T19:30:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nusic.org.uk\/wordpress\/?p=12104"},"modified":"2014-02-17T10:40:07","modified_gmt":"2014-02-17T10:40:07","slug":"top-3-gigs-week-beginning-13th-january","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nusic.org.uk\/wordpress\/top-3-gigs-week-beginning-13th-january\/","title":{"rendered":"TOP 3 GIGS &#8211; Week beginning 13th January"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>GIG ONE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Launching their \u201c<em>Pistol Whipped<\/em>\u201d EP, and opening our <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nusic.org.uk\/wordpress\/category\/top-3-gigs\/\">Top Three<\/a><\/strong> this week, is\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/tazeronline?fref=ts\">TAZER<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The skilful four-piece will be performing their majestic, guitar-driven melodies at\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/bodeganotts?fref=ts\">The Bodega<\/a><\/strong> this Friday, mixing fan-favourites with tracks from their new EP.\u00a0With airplay on\u00a0<strong>BBC Introducing<\/strong> newly stashed in their locker, the guys look set to build upon their initial success with this EP launch.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">In a supporting role,\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Fieldsuk?fref=ts\">FIELDS<\/a><\/strong> look to focus their Charlatan-inspired riffs into matching the anthemic sound of<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/tazeronline?fref=ts\">TAZER<\/a><\/strong>. The band take the lead from the dual harmonies of vocalists George and Sam, as they power through original songs such as \u2018<em>Blue<\/em>\u2019 and \u2018<em>Spit it Out<\/em>\u2019.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Lastly,\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/tazeronline?fref=ts\">TAZER<\/a><\/strong> and\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Fieldsuk?fref=ts\">FIELDS<\/a><\/strong> will be joined by\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/Connor-Spray-Music\/353521778013928?fref=ts\">CONNOR SPRAY<\/a><\/strong>. As a solo artist she has lent her distinctive voice to acts across the midlands, whilst as a DJ she has proved to be a dab-hand with her in-depth knowledge of the Electronic scene.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">She will be joined by\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nusic.org.uk\/wordpress\/future-session-33-63-esther-van-leuven\/\">ESTHER VAN LEUVEN<\/a><\/strong>. Something of a newcomer, she, too, has already appeared on Nusic\u2019s radar as a powerful yet haunting vocalist who has the ability to carry the melodic numbers strummed by her guitarist, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/FrazerLowrieMusic?fref=ts\">FRAZER LOWRIE<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Next up are the easy listening vibes of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/bmagore?fref=ts\">BLESSING MAGORE<\/a><\/strong>. Blending such genres as RnB, Jazz, Reggae and Funk, Blessing is just one of the great talents to come out of the legendary CRS studios. With more artists to be confirmed, it\u2019s sure to be a night to remember.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">For those not familiar with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/sleaford-mods\/26096708735?fref=ts\">SLEAFORD MODS<\/a><\/strong>, you really should be!
