Launching their \u201cPistol Whipped<\/em>\u201d EP, and opening our Top Three<\/a><\/strong> this week, is\u00a0TAZER<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The skilful four-piece will be performing their majestic, guitar-driven melodies at\u00a0The Bodega<\/a><\/strong> this Friday, mixing fan-favourites with tracks from their new EP.\u00a0With airplay on\u00a0BBC Introducing<\/strong> newly stashed in their locker, the guys look set to build upon their initial success with this EP launch.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In a supporting role,\u00a0FIELDS<\/a><\/strong> look to focus their Charlatan-inspired riffs into matching the anthemic sound of TAZER<\/a><\/strong>. The band take the lead from the dual harmonies of vocalists George and Sam, as they power through original songs such as \u2018Blue<\/em>\u2019 and \u2018Spit it Out<\/em>\u2019.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Lastly,\u00a0TAZER<\/a><\/strong> and\u00a0FIELDS<\/a><\/strong> will be joined by\u00a0CONNOR SPRAY<\/a><\/strong>. The singer\/ songwriter will sure to be a crowd-pleaser with his punchy, in your face acoustic tunes.<\/p>\n

Tuesday 14th January will be the last\u00a0Unplugged<\/a><\/strong> live event at Pepper Rocks<\/a><\/strong> for \u2018some months\u2019, so get down if you don\u2019t want to miss out!<\/p>\n

AJA<\/a><\/strong> is the headline act, on what should be a top evening, with a performance and DJ set – two for the price of one! As a solo artist she has lent her distinctive voice to acts across the midlands, whilst as a DJ she has proved to be a dab-hand with her in-depth knowledge of the Electronic scene.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

She will be joined by\u00a0ESTHER VAN LEUVEN<\/a><\/strong>. Something of a newcomer, she, too, has already appeared on Nusic\u2019s radar as a powerful yet haunting vocalist who has the ability to carry the melodic numbers strummed by her guitarist, FRAZER LOWRIE<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Next up are the easy listening vibes of BLESSING MAGORE<\/a><\/strong>. Blending such genres as RnB, Jazz, Reggae and Funk, Blessing is just one of the great talents to come out of the legendary CRS studios. Finishing off the night is Matt Henshaw<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Rounding off our Top Three<\/a><\/strong> this week is\u00a0SLEAFORD MODS<\/a>,<\/strong> GUILTY PARENTS<\/a> <\/strong>and THE LOWEST FORM<\/a><\/strong> at The Chameleon Arts Cafe<\/a><\/strong> on Saturday (18th January). With more artists to be confirmed, it\u2019s sure to be a night to remember.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

For those not familiar with SLEAFORD MODS<\/a><\/strong>, you really should be! This duo have been together since 2006 bringing their self-styled \u2018Hip Hop Punk for the working class\u2019 \u00a0to Nottingham’s streets.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The night\u2019s other confirmed acts are\u00a0GUILTY PARENTS<\/a><\/strong> who will be bringing some raucous post-punk to the proceedings, before we have some “ferocious noise” from THE LOWEST FORM<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n
