\nI\u2019m Not From London<\/a><\/strong> are back with Under The Tree<\/a><\/strong> at The Malt Cross<\/a><\/strong> this Thursday, and there\u2019s plenty of great talents to take your musical fancy.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We have the beautiful, raw acoustic grit of SAM JONES<\/a><\/strong>. He\u2019s been putting out some incredible material as of late, which has had him featured on not one, but our two most recent podcasts<\/a>! He\u2019s a great live performer, and you owe it to yourself to see the passion he puts into performing in person.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Next up we have JOSH WHEATLEY<\/a><\/strong>, the 18 year old with an angelic voice, bound to sooth your soul and transport you to a beach somewhere. He\u2019s fresh from a Future Session<\/a>, which shows just how talented he really is, and with his big EP launch around the corner, we suggest you catch his performance before he\u2019s off trotting round New York or something.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

After Josh, we have the ridiculous vocal range of one of Nottingham\u2019s very own Soul superstar REBECCA KING<\/a><\/strong>. She amazed us at plenty of gigs in 2013, and fresh from releasing one of THE best pop EP\u2019s last year, she\u2019s bound to amaze the crowd at The Bodega.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We then have the crazy combination of sounds that is\u00a0CHESHIRE & THE CAT<\/strong><\/a>. For those unfamiliar Cheshire & Co blend Ska, Indie, Soul and Jazz to make a crazy concoction of sounds that take you straight to the dancefloor.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

FRAZER LOWRIE<\/strong><\/a> will then be wowing the crowd with his beautiful Alternative take on Soul. You\u2019ve probably seen him about with ESTHER VAN LEUVEN<\/a><\/strong>, as he\u2019s her guitarist, but believe us when we say, when he takes to the stage on his own, he controls the stage!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Finally, we\u2019ll have HEAVYHEADS<\/a><\/strong> rounding off the night. They\u2019ve got some beautiful harmonies and soothing vocals going on, and considering they\u2019ve got an EP release round the corner, you can expect plenty of fresh material.<\/p>\n

Over at Jam Cafe<\/a> <\/span><\/strong>on Thursday, expect a great lineup of acts courtesy of Farmyard<\/a><\/strong>!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We\u2019ve got WINTERHOUSE<\/a><\/strong> opening the night, perhaps you might recognise their faces, as they\u2019re pretty much a supergroup of past Nottingham bands.They\u2019ll be bringing some uplifting harmonies, and a glockienspiel, what more could you ask for?
\nNext up we have the fine, authentic Blues of RYAN THOMAS<\/a><\/strong>. He recently signed to local label Wire & Woo<\/a>l<\/strong>, and there\u2019s plenty of big things coming his way in 2014. If you\u2019re a fan of Blues, wait until you hear this guy!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

ANWYN WILLIAMS<\/a><\/strong> will then be taking to the stage with her Joni Mitchell esque Folk. Anwyn has been around the Folk circuit for the past few years now, making a name for herself on the scene with her haunting lifting melodies. Eleanor Lee<\/strong> will also be performing.<\/p>\n

Rounding off our Top Three<\/a><\/strong> is Jam Cafe\u2019s<\/strong> newest night. Known as Psy-Fi Sessions, it brings bands from genres as obscure and under-appreciated as Psychadelic and Fuzz and pairs them with Vinyl DJ\u2019s for one hell of a Saturday night!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The first of these nights has THE CULT OF DOM KELLER<\/a><\/strong> headlining. Best described as a mix of all out rock mixed with Psychadelic sounds, they certainly make a kind of \u201cSpace-Rock\u201d that you have never heard before.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

There will also be two Vinyl DJ\u2019s playing these genre\u2019s until the early hours of the morning, so if Psych and Fuzz are your kind of thing, you\u2019ve found your new favourite night out!<\/p>\n
