Our current future session artist\u00a0JOSH WHEATLEY<\/a><\/strong> is releasing his EP “Follow The Smoke”<\/em> and he\u2019s throwing one hell of a party to celebrate it. Down at Pepper Rocks<\/a><\/strong> on Thursday, you can expect plenty of great local artists and of course a performance from the sock fanatic himself!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

FRANKIE RUDOLF<\/a><\/strong> will be opening the night with some lovingly tender Folk, paired with some incredibly catchy melodies. NEW COMMUNICATION\u2019S<\/a><\/strong> big band Hip-Hop energy will be getting everybody moving, before JAMIE MOON\u2019S<\/a><\/strong> sultry Acoustic bliss slows things down a bit. MJ LYNCH\u2019S<\/a><\/strong> classic Soul sound will be stripped down to simple yet effective acoustic renditions, just before Mister Wheatley takes to the stage.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Once JOSH WHEATLEY<\/a><\/strong> takes to the stage, you will become entranced. His beautiful voice and imaginative songwriting has won him lots of praise on the Nottingham scene and it\u2019s just a matter of time before he blows up. He will of course be performing his New EP \u201cFollow The Smoke<\/em>\u201d as well as plenty of other songs from his back catalogue. Come on down and support the hard-copy release of one of the hardest working musicians in Nottingham!<\/p>\n

The LeftLion<\/a><\/strong> family are back with their BLOW-OUT<\/a><\/strong> event to celebrate the new issue of the magazine, and there\u2019s a bloody great lineup to celebrate it!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This Saturday at The Corner<\/a><\/strong>, ONEGIRLONEBOY<\/a><\/strong> will be opening proceedings with their sultry vocals and catchy riffs.\u00a0YOUTHORACLE<\/a><\/strong> of Don\u2019t Flop fame will be gracing the stage next, \u00a0with some acapella versions of his upcoming EP \u201cFlashfloods Vol. 2<\/em>\u201d. He\u2019s one of the fastest rising UK rappers for a reason, and we\u2019re sure this performance will be unlike anything you\u2019ve seen.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Next up we have some special \u201cSecret\u201d guests. Even we don\u2019t know who these are, but it could be bloody anybody. But, we all love a surprise every now and again!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Finally, the electronic goddess that is AJA<\/a><\/strong> will be gracing the stage with her powerful, bassy electronica. One of the fastest rising stars in the Nottingham scene, AJA<\/a><\/strong> is known for putting on an incredible yet unique performance. Considering she sounds like no one else out there at the minute, we highly suggest you get down to The Corner and check her out!<\/p>\n

Rounding off our Top Three<\/a><\/strong> we have Farmyard Presents<\/a><\/strong> at Jam Cafe<\/a><\/strong> on Friday. As per usual, lots of great local talent in one of Nottingham\u2019s best cosy venues.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We\u2019ll have FRAZER LOWRIE<\/a><\/strong> opening the night with his in your face soulful Acoustic tunes, as well as CHESHIRE & THE CAT<\/a><\/strong>, who will be getting the entirety of Jam Cafe up on their feet thanks to their brassy yet catchy party sounds.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Headlining the night we have a band who is sure to bring a bit of sunshine back to these miserable Winter months. STUCK IN SECOND<\/a><\/strong> make Summery Surf-Reggae, the kind you would hear on a Jamaican beach somewhere, but there\u2019s plenty of catchy melodies that could only be found in Nottingham!<\/p>\n
