Yet another amazing week for the Nottingham music scene. This week sees two fine selections of top acoustic talent in the week, and a right mix up of some of Nottingham’s best local talent at the weekend.

\nGIG ONE<\/strong>
\n
\nOver at The Maze<\/a><\/strong> on Wednesday, you\u2019ll find loads of great acoustic performances thanks to HUSH<\/strong><\/a>!
\n
\nCONNOR SPRAY<\/a><\/strong> will be opening the night with his edgy, Oasis-esque Acoustic sounds. With a strong stage presence and an incredibly unique tone to his voice, we\u2019re sure Connor will set the night off to a great start!
\n
\nNext up we\u2019ll have the retro Indie-Pop sounds of JAMES GOOCH<\/strong><\/a>. You may have seen him about with his band SAME STREETS<\/strong><\/a>, but this time you can expect to see the lad performing some heartwarming solo acoustic goodness.
\n
\nANWYN WILLIAMS<\/a><\/strong> will also be gracing us with her Acoustic-Folky sounds. She\u2019s won plenty of people over after performing with RYAN THOMAS<\/a><\/strong> over the past few months; and we\u2019re sure that her beautiful solo songs will win you over too.
\n
\nWe\u2019ll also have some Acoustic-Pop from ADAM CLARKSON<\/strong><\/a>, frontman of wonky-pop pioneers CAPTAIN DANGEROUS<\/strong><\/a>; as well as some gritty Bluesy Soul from RAPH ACHACHE<\/strong><\/a>.

\nJamie Beau<\/strong> from Derby will also be performing.

\nNext up, at Malt Cross<\/a><\/strong> on Thursday you can expect loads of great local acts thanks to Under The Tree<\/a><\/strong>!

\nJOHN HARDY<\/a><\/strong> will be bringing his soft acoustic sounds to the proceedings, whilst BEN HAYNES<\/a><\/strong> singer-songwriter vibes are sure to have you hooked on every word. Both are influenced by some of the greatest songwriters of all time they both craft some incredible songs.
\n
\nJOY MUMFORD\u2019s<\/a><\/strong> Folky-Soul sounds are sure to have you hooked from the second she gets on stage. She\u2019s got plenty of great new songs ready for her latest EP, so we suggest checking out our Future Session<\/a><\/strong> with her, learning all the words, and then heading on down and singing along! Quietly though, this is an acoustic set you know!
\n
\nWith a sound that\u2019s well beyond his years, LUKE WHITTEMORE<\/a><\/strong> is sure to impress with his heavily Americana influenced material. You can also expect ROBYN HUGHES-JONES\u2019<\/a><\/strong> sultry Acoustic sounds to fill the room. Known for her cheeky yet relatable songwriting and beautiful soulful voice, we\u2019re sure she\u2019ll win over plenty of new fans.

\nTo round off an incredible night of talent we have some more singer-songwriter sounds, this time from ARTIT AUKKO<\/a><\/strong>. With an incredibly powerful voice and stage presence, he\u2019ll round off the night in style.

\n
\nLast up on our Top Three<\/a><\/strong>, we have loads of great local acts at Bunkers Hill<\/a><\/strong> on Friday, thanks to I\u2019m Not From London<\/a><\/strong>.
\n
\nTopping the Notts bill we have the savage Indie five piece, THE WICKETS<\/a><\/strong>. They\u2019ve been in the game for more than ten years now and they\u2019re still sounding as strong as ever. We can\u2019t wait to get a little crazy to their Alt-Rock sounds!
\n
\nONEGIRLONEBOY<\/a><\/strong> will be bringing their dark Electro-Pop to the stage. The duo put on quite a performance, and when you see their beautiful voices come together live, we\u2019re sure you\u2019ll be blown away. Psstt, the way to remember the name is ladies first!
\n
\nPOIROT\u2019S BOYS<\/a><\/strong> will also be performing. They\u2019re a fairly new band who we can\u2019t find much on, but according to their bio they\u2019re an \u201cautobiographical avant-skiffle trio of brothers from present-day Nottingham\u201d. So we\u2019ll just have to wait and see what kind of interesting performance these guys put on.

\nFinally we have the rather interestingly named BAYBO SQUAYBO<\/a><\/strong>. The band haven\u2019t played many gigs together yet, but we\u2019re sure their in your face high-energy Rock will have you desperate to see them again.
