JAKE BUGG<\/a><\/strong> has become the third Nottinghamshire artist to sign a major label record deal in the last six months!!<\/strong> Following in the footsteps of DOG IS DEAD<\/a><\/strong> and (we believe) NATALIE DUNCAN<\/a><\/strong> it’s incredibly exciting to see the London based Music Industry finally cottoning on to the huge amount of talent in the Great County of Nottinghamshire, and we are sure these three will not be the last! RONIKA<\/a><\/strong> for example must be attracting major label interest after featuring in this week’s NME<\/strong> (AGAIN).

\nJake<\/strong> has signed to Mercury Records<\/strong>, they are owned by Universal<\/strong> who are the world’s biggest record label, this is big time news. We’re talking the home of CHASE AND STATUS<\/strong>, ARCADE FIRE<\/strong> and some band called U2<\/strong>. Yes our lad is rosta buddies with the world’s biggest band!

\nJake<\/strong> said: “I’m really looking forward for the things to come and can’t wait to get recording really. Hopefully the album should be out next year. I never thought I’d get this far so I’m really looking forward for the things to come.<\/em>”
