Pretty good month then.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"\">LONE&#8217;s<\/a><\/strong> album &#8220;<em>Reality Testing<\/em>&#8221; was voted number one album of the year by Nationally and Internationally recognised <strong>DJ Mag<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"\">SAINT RAYMOND<\/a><\/strong> became only the third Nottingham born artist to sell out <strong><a href=\"\">Rock City<\/a><\/strong> in its 34 year history!<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"\">AKADIAN<\/a><\/strong> signed a deal with <strong>Sony Music Entertainment<\/strong> (Fuze), a huge moment for any artist!<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"\">BRU-C<\/a><\/strong> got his first <strong>Radio 1<\/strong> play thanks to <strong>Mistajam<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"\">TREKKAH<\/a><\/strong> and <strong>YAZMIN LACEY&#8217;s<\/strong> &#8220;<em>Promises<\/em>&#8220;, and <strong><a href=\"\">FIELD STUDIES&#8217;<\/a><\/strong> &#8220;<em>Mother Tongue<\/em>&#8221; got played on <strong>Radio 1<\/strong> thanks to <strong>Rastarella<\/strong> and <strong>Huw Stephens<\/strong> respectively.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>Promises<\/em>&#8221; also made it onto the <strong>BBC Radio 1Xtra<\/strong> playlist, which meant the track got played every day of the week! <\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"\">DAUDI MATSIKO&#8217;S<\/a><\/strong> &#8220;<em>Houston In The Blind<\/em>&#8221; was named one of<strong> Gilles Peterson&#8217;s<\/strong> tracks of the year!<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"\">#SpreadTheLove<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The latest good vibes\/ success headlines from the Nottingham music scene (that we know of), please drop us a line if we\u2019ve missed anything significant (our definition of significant is something of national relevance) \u2013 nusic@leftlion.co.uk.
