An accolade previously given to the likes of <strong>Swim Deep<\/strong>, <strong>Hudson Taylor<\/strong>, and some lad called Bugg from Clifton.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"\">SLEAFORD MODS<\/a><\/strong> received some quadruple page loving in the <strong>NME<\/strong>, alongside legends <strong>The Prodigy<\/strong> who they&#8217;ve recently collaborated with on a UK No.1 record&#8230; which kinda means the Mods are super popstars now&#8230; kinda&#8230; maybe.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Frank Turner<\/strong> (an artist that can fill Wembley Arena!) declared <strong><a href=\"\">Rock City<\/a><\/strong> as his favourite independent venue in the UK!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gigwise<\/strong> declared <strong><a href=\"\">KAGOULE<\/a><\/strong> the number one band you MUST check out this Summer! <strong><a href=\"\">LINK<\/a><\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>The return of <strong><a href=\"\">HARLEIGHBLU<\/a><\/strong> was made <strong>XFM&#8217;s<\/strong> <strong>John Kennedy&#8217;s<\/strong> X-Posure Hot-One (track of the day!)<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"\">AMBER RUN&#8217;S<\/a><\/strong> debut &#8220;<em>5AM<\/em>&#8221; made the UK Top 40 Album Charts, sitting proudly at No.36.  Huge moment!<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"\">FIELD STUDIES<\/a><\/strong> got their first <strong>Radio 6<\/strong> play, courtesy of none other than <strong>Tom Robinson<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"\">EYRE LLEW<\/a><\/strong> got their first <strong>Radio 2<\/strong> play, courtesy of <strong>Steve Wright<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"\">ADY SULEIMAN&#8217;S<\/a><\/strong> &#8220;<em>State of Mind<\/em>&#8221; made it onto the <strong>1Xtra<\/strong> playlist, C-list styley! <\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"\">AMBER RUN<\/a><\/strong> received their first WORLDWIDE radio play, when <strong>BBC World Service<\/strong> blasted out &#8220;<em>Just My Soul Responding<\/em>&#8220;!<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"\">SAINT RAYMOND&#8217;S<\/a><\/strong> debut album &#8220;<em>Young Blood<\/em>&#8221; went into the main iTunes album chart top 30, in less than 12 hours, on pre-orders alone! <\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"\">SAINT RAYMOND<\/a><\/strong> went trending Nationally on Twitter for the first time when he announced his debut album &#8211; #youngbloodalbum.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"\">#SpreadTheLove<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The latest good vibes\/ success headlines from the Nottingham music scene (that we know of), please drop us a line if we\u2019ve missed anything significant (our definition of significant is something of national relevance) \u2013 nusic@leftlion.co.uk.
