We\u2019ve got a headline show at <strong><a href=\"\">The Bodega<\/a><\/strong>, a Christmas party with possibly the best Christmas name ever at <strong><a href=\"\">The Contemporary<\/a>,<\/strong> and a complete (very almost but not quite sold out) take over across three nights and two venues. Don\u2019t ya just love Notts?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>GIG ONE <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211;\u00a0Thursday, Friday &amp; Saturday<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"\">AMBER RUN<\/a> <\/b>are doing a bit of a takeover towards the end of the week. They\u2019re playing three, yeah that\u2019s right THREE, headline shows across the week in the pretty wonderful (if we do say ourselves) city of Nottingham. After announcing two headline shows at <b>Rescue Rooms<\/b> which sold out ridiculously fast, they announced a headline show at <b>The Bodega<\/b> the night before, but then that sold out too. Thankfully for you though, they\u2019ve just released some extra tickets for both nights at <b>Rescue Rooms<\/b>. They released their debut album \u2018<em>5AM<\/em>\u2019 in April, reaching the Top 40 and went on to play massive crowds at festivals all over the UK. Impressive stuff, ay?<\/p>\n<p>Thursday sees <b><a href=\"\">AMBER RUN<\/a><\/b> hit the stage at <b>The Bodega<\/b>. Tickets for this have sold out, so if you have one you lucky devils. You get to see \u2018em all up close and personal. Thursday\u2019s support comes from <b><a href=\"\">GEORGE HOLROYD<\/a><\/b> who gets about a bit doesn\u2019t he? If you don&#8217;t know about this songwriting stallion, wait until the final gig description (ooh anticipation!!). <b>Jack Watts<\/b> from Brighton will be supporting too.<\/p>\n<p>Friday night sees the five-piece\u2019s first night at <b>Rescue Rooms<\/b>. <b><a href=\"\">MOLLY &amp; JACK<\/a><\/b> are the Nottingham support of the evening. You get to see the RR stage explode with cuteness as well as hearing beautiful Acoustic Folk filled with harmonies that will make your heart melt. Also supporting will be <b>Fickle Friends<\/b> from Brighton.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, Saturday not only gives you <b><a href=\"\">AMBER RUN<\/a><\/b>, they\u2019re bringing along some special guests. <b><a href=\"\">GEORGIE<\/a><\/b> has just come the end of her headline tour \u2018Following the 20 Mile Road\u2019 which saw her play everywhere from her hometown of Mansfield and finishing at The Maze last week. After absolutely smashing their performance at Our City the other week, <b><a href=\"\">D.I.D<\/a><\/b> will be joining <b><a href=\"\">AMBER RUN<\/a><\/b> on Saturday night. It\u2019s been a big couple of months for the (kinda) newly abbreviated band with the release of their EP \u2018<em>Fast Food<\/em>.\u2019 They\u2019ve also just released a Christmas song called \u2018<em>TV Christmas<\/em>\u2019 which is a must for your musically credible xmas playlists.<\/p>\n<p>Make sure you grab those few extra tickets quick!<\/p>\n<p><b>GIG TWO<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; Friday<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"\">THE TANGENTS<\/a><\/b> are releasing their new single \u2018Fall Apart\u2019 over at <b>The Bodega<\/b> on Friday! They released their debut EP about this time last year and have been gigging round Notts since. They\u2019ll be sharing their Indie Rock filled with catchy choruses and refined riffs with early <strong>Arctic Monkeys<\/strong> kinda lyrics. You get a free \u2018<em>Fall Apart<\/em>\u2019 CD when you buy a ticket, so make sure ya get down.<\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"\">CONNOR SPRAY &amp; THE INDIABEES<\/a><\/b> will be supporting on Friday. Creating Indie Rock and Roll straight out of Hucknall, these guys bring a whole lot of swagger and riffs that we\u2019re sure will be getting sung back to them in a few years time. Yeah, they\u2019re <i>those <\/i>kinda riffs.<\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"\">HOLLY TAYLOR-GAMBLE<\/a><\/b> will be sharing her ethereal vocal layered over ambient guitar. Holly hasn\u2019t released any music yet BUT we notice she\u2019s recorded a music video recently so hopefully you\u2019ll be able to get your hands on her music (not that you can actually touch it, that\u2019d be weird) pretty soon.<\/p>\n<p><b>The Bodega<br \/>\n<\/b>Friday 18th December<br \/>\nDoors: 7.30pm<br \/>\nTickets: \u00a33. \u00a34 OTD<\/p>\n<p><b>GIG THREE<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; Saturday<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"\">Under The Tree<\/a><\/b> are putting on a Christmas gig to get you feeling all festive and they\u2019re calling it Under The Christmas Tree!! Is that not just so damn clever?<\/p>\n<p>Performing on the evening will be <b><a href=\"\">GEORGE HOLROYD<\/a><\/b>. He released his debut EP \u2018<em>Peru<\/em>\u2019 earlier in the year with the title track telling a beautiful story of wanting to escape for a day using his husky voice and gorgeous guitar. Why would you wanna escape the wonderfully sunny Notts weather, ay? Either way, his stunning\u00a0tunes will keep ya wanting to stay at Contempreh.<\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"\u2013-first-and-last-hangover-song-future-session-51-82\/\">JOSH KEMP<\/a><\/b> will be bringing along his acoustic guitar and loop pedal to the evening. Josh is currently raising money for Nottingham charity Framework, who help those in need of shelter, by releasing a Christmas song recorded with an entire choir. Josh has also just released a brand new single \u2018<em>Leap of Faith<\/em>\u2019 featuring <a href=\"\"><strong>MOTORMOUF<\/strong><\/a>. You can have a listen on the latest NMP <a href=\"\"><strong>HERE<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>You can also catch <b><a href=\"\">MRS GREEN<\/a> <\/b>on Saturday. <b><a href=\"\">MRS GREEN<\/a><\/b> started off as a stage show project last year with her very own musical and it\u2019s beautifully barmy. She\u2019ll be supported by her band,<strong> THE RIZZLAS<\/strong>, who are made up of Notts musicians you\u2019ll probs recognise.
