We\u2019ve picked three of the best. So get off your lazy arses and go and listen to some great music. There\u2019s some beaut (and FREE) music at <strong><a href=\"\">Sobar<\/a><\/strong>, a single launch at <strong><a href=\"\">The Bodega<\/a><\/strong> and an EP launch at <strong><a href=\"\">JamCafe<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><b>THURSDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The stunningly beautiful\u00a0sounds of <\/span><b><a href=\"\">GALLERY 47<\/a><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and his band will be performing at <strong>Sobar<\/strong> on Thursday. Celebrated for his soft, unique vocal and finger style guitar work, Jack Peachey (the man behind <strong><a href=\"\">GALLERY 47<\/a><\/strong>) has recently signed to publishers, BMG. His songwriting, influenced by 1960s folk poetry, has gained him slots at T in the Park as well as supporting <strong>Paul Weller<\/strong>. Impressive stuff, ay? <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"\">ROB GREEN<\/a><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will be bringing along his soulful voice and effortless-charisma filled performance to the <strong>Sobar<\/strong> stage. Building up an ever-growing CV, Rob has played Splendour Festival, been named the \u201cSoul Prince of Nottingham\u201d by LeftLion and won the music category of the <strong><a href=\"\">YCA\u2019s<\/a><\/strong> in 2012. Speaking of which, he wrote a lovley piece on how to get started as a musician in Notts recently, check it out <strong><a href=\"\">HERE<\/a><\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Sobar<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thursday 28th January<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 6pm<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tickets: FREE<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>FRIDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"\">FUTURE SHINJUKU<\/a><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are launching their debut EP \u2018<em>Red Dot<\/em>\u2019 on Saturday at <strong>JamCafe<\/strong>. The band formed in mid-2015 coming together from a whole range of Notts bands from different genres. The four-piece create \u201cFuturistic Psychedelic Progressive Pop\u201d &#8211; a name that we definitely think is catchy enough to become the next big genre (Psych-Fut-Pro-Pop, maybe). We can\u2019t tell you too much what \u2018Psych-Fut-Pro-Pop\u2019 sounds like, cos\u00a0we\u2019re yet to hear the EP, so you&#8217;ll have to join us down the front on Friday!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Female fronted <\/span><b><a href=\"\">HEY! QUADROPHONIC<\/a><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are the support for the evening. Fusing together Funk, Dub and Rock &amp; Roll to create something completely unique<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>JamCafe<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Friday 29th January<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 8pm<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tickets: FREE<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>SATURDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"\">CROSA ROSA<\/a><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will be headlining <strong>The Bodega<\/strong> on Saturday, as they launch their new single &#8220;<em>Simple Smiler<\/em>&#8220;. The three piece take influence from 60s Surf (as well as voodoo and eating souls) to create a modern fusion of Alternative, Psychedelia and Garage. The band played on the<strong> BBC Introducing<\/strong> stage at last year\u2019s Reading and Leeds festival, with their Reading set making it into the Top 5 most shared on BBC iPlayer from across the whole festival (pretty decent, ay?)\u00a0Get down the front so you can tell your grand-kids you saw them at <strong>The Bodega<\/strong> &#8211; not in front of thousands.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The all girl Alt-Rock band <\/span><b><a href=\"\">BABE PUNCH<\/a><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are supporting on the night. Creating huge sounds laced with Grunge and Punk influences straight from the nineties, their songs were described as &#8220;feedback-laden, angsty anthems\u201d by none other than the bloody NME. Check out their <a href=\"\">Future Session<\/a> from the end of last year to\u00a0see what they&#8217;re all about.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"\">MANNEQUIN<\/a><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are the final support of the evening. Creating huge sounds from a blend of Punk, Grunge, Psychedelia and Art Rock, the three-piece put ridiculous amounts of energy into every performance (prepare to be feeling sore come Sunday morning).
