These lot are putting Nottingham on the map of the UK Grime scene.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Producer duo <\/span><b><a href=\"\">BEATGEEKS<\/a><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will be laying down the beat. Made up of Elreezy and Blenda, <\/span><b><a href=\"\">BEATGEEKS<\/a><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> have been behind some of Notts\u2019 slickest productions over the past few years. Who for? Well, lots of peeps, including the below&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They will be joined by the <\/span><b>NOTTINGHAM CREW 1,2<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; <\/span><b><a href=\"\">SNOWY<\/a><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b><a href=\"\">J DOT<\/a><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b><a href=\"\">MEZ<\/a><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b><a href=\"\">KYEZA<\/a><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b><a href=\"\">JAH DIGGA<\/a>.\u00a0<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With well over a million combined YouTube views, they\u2019re becoming well established within the Grime community. Already picked up by DJs on 1Xtra and Rinse FM, if you haven\u2019t already heard these lot, you\u2019re about to.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can also catch <\/span><b>Prez T<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>Sir Spyro<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Rinse FM) from London.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>The Bodega<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wednesday 10th February<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 10pm<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tickets: \u00a37<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>FRIDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>The Maze<\/strong> are hosting a night filled with Reggae, Afrobeat, Dancehall and Beatboxing on Friday, bringing together some of the best artists from the Notts scene.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"\">ORIGIN ONE<\/a> <\/b>are the main Notts act of the evening. Creating a fusion of Dub, Reggae, Hip Hop and Jungle, the amount of energy created from their performances could easily power half the country. Signed to <a style=\"font-weight: 400;\" href=\"\"><strong>Deeper Than Roots<\/strong><\/a>, the collective are filled\u00a0with plenty of familiar faces, including\u00a0&#8211; <a href=\"\"><b>N3ON<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>PERCYDREAD<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>PARISA<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>TREKKAH<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,and\u00a0<\/span><b>BRU-C\u00a0<\/b><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"\">BUD<\/a><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will be showing off her Reggae infused Folk Pop, with beautiful melodies and a spine-chilling vocal. She recently ran a successful Kickstarter campaign to raise money for her first music video for \u2018<em>City Bird<\/em>.\u2019 You can see the pilot online already &#8211; it involves people getting wings as the next new trend (check it out &#8211; it\u2019ll make more sense).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"\">MOTORMOUF<\/a> <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&amp; <\/span><b><a href=\"\">ASHMORE<\/a><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will be bringing a mixture of Reggae, Ska, Hip Hop and Gypsy, backed by some mouth magic (we\u2019re talking about Beatboxing btw). Taking inspiration for their lyrics from their life experiences and things that generally piss them off, these guys\u00a0always put on an energetic and relatable performance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>KOG &amp; the Zongo Brigade<\/strong> from Sheffield will also be performing .<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>The Maze<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Friday 12th February<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 9pm<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tickets: \u00a35<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>SATURDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Walking Dead returns for a sixth season this weekend, so <\/span><b>The Running Horse<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are putting on a festival called&#8230; THE RUNNING DEAD FEST! Get it? Cause running and walking\u2026 Best. Name. Ever. Not only does the festival have an awesome name, there are loads of Nottingham bands on the line up. So whack out your best post-apocalyptic zombie-ridden world costume and head down to <strong>The<\/strong> <strong>Running Horse<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">First on the line up are <\/span><b><a href=\"\">THRASONIC<\/a><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, who we hear are taking time out from their modelling careers and nuclear engineering to play their blues. If the whole band thing is just a side-project, I\u2019d love to see what they can achieve on the runway. You can catch <\/span><b><a href=\"\">PRIME<\/a><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> performing their newly released EP \u2018<em>IOU<\/em>\u2019 filled with Indie Rock infused with Post Punk. <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>HUNG DADDY<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will be bringing some Metal to event (alongside the self-confessed \u201cbest worst band name you\u2019ll ever hear\u201d). <\/span><b><a href=\"\">THE RUFFS<\/a><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (you know, <\/span><b><a href=\"\">CONNOR SPRAY AND THE INDIABEES<\/a><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) will be bringing along their straight talking Indie Rock &amp; Roll, layered with some proper Hucknall swagger. They couldn\u2019t have picked a better new band name.
