The beautifully named \u2018<em>Oh, My Heart<\/em>\u2019 EP, released on <strong>Ukiyo Records<\/strong>, is Jamie\u2019s second EP. Jamie creates a blend of Acoustic Folk, layered with his unique vocal, simple guitar and incredible melodies. His songs tell tales of broken hearts, whilst still managing to stay\u00a0upbeat. And, this show sees a rare full band set from J.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"\">JOSH WHEATLEY<\/a><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is supporting Jamie on Thursday, bringing along his much loved Indie Pop with a dark twist. He\u2019s recently spent some of his spare time teaching eight\u00a0year olds how to write a song &#8211; the outcome was a song about weird boys with banjos.\u00a0We&#8217;d love to hear it, but for now, his beaut Indie-Pop will most definitely do.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Also supporting is the self-proclaimed &#8220;singer of songs, drinker of gin&#8221; &#8211;\u00a0<\/span><b><a href=\"\">MELISSA DANIAL-WARD<\/a><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Melissa creates a bloomin\u2019 beautiful blend of Acoustic Folk Pop through the use of her acoustic guitar and soothing vocal. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>The Chameleon Arts Cafe<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thursday 25th February<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 8pm<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tickets: \u00a34<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>FRIDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"\">ON THE OPEN ROAD<\/a><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are launching their new EP \u2018<em>Storyteller<\/em>\u2019 at <strong><a href=\"\">Rescue Rooms<\/a><\/strong> on Friday. These guys bring an explosion of Heavy Pop Punk to everything they do, taking influence from peeps such as <strong>Neck Deep<\/strong> and <strong>A Day To Remember<\/strong>. They have just released the music video for\u00a0\u2018<em>Rainy Days<\/em>\u2019 which premiered on <strong>Punktastic<\/strong> and sees the four-piece make a whole load of racket in a house (they must have some very forgiving, or very deaf neighbours).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"\">BABE PUNCH<\/a><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will be supporting the Pop Punk four-piece, bringing their all girl (almost) Alternative Rock with a punch (get it, cause Babe Punch, ha) of Grunge and Punk. These gals have had praise from the likes of <strong>NME<\/strong>, <strong>The Wytches<\/strong> and Eion from <strong>Drenge<\/strong>. Have a cheeky look at their <strong><a href=\"\">Future Session<\/a><\/strong> to find out why.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"\">HIGH TIDES<\/a><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are the other Nottingham support for the evening. The Pop Punk five-piece are pretty new to the Notts scene, after forming back in June of last year. The band have recently released their debut video for single \u2018<em>Opia<\/em>\u2019 which gained over 10k views in just one week! Their debut EP \u2018<em>Home Truths<\/em>\u2019 is be available to pre-order, so keep an eye and ear out for that.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can also catch <\/span><b>Ocean Floor<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from Derbyshire and <\/span><b>Coast to Coast<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from Birmingham.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Rescue Rooms<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Friday 26th February<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 6pm<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tickets: \u00a36<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Friday also sees <\/span><b><a href=\"\">SAME STREETS<\/a> <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">headline <strong>The Lofthouse<\/strong>. It\u2019s the first of a run of three shows around the city over the course of three months (so if you can\u2019t make it this time, you\u2019ve got no excuses for the other two). The four-piece (with the newly added Isaac Bloomfield on bass) have got a whole lot of cool, so much cool in fact that <strong>Fred Perry Subculture<\/strong> described them as \u201ca paragon of cool.\u201d And you lot love em too, you voted them onto the People\u2019s Podcast which you can have a listen too <strong><a href=\"\">HERE<\/a><\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Support comes from Alternative four-piece <\/span><b><a href=\"\">AMULET<\/a><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The band take influences from some seriously huge names including <strong>The Beatles,<\/strong> <strong>Oasis<\/strong> and <strong>The Rolling Stones<\/strong>, whilst still sounding maintaining their own completely unique sound. They\u2019ve done some incredible support slots round Notts over the past few months and we can\u2019t wait to hear some more recordings!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You will also be able to catch the Alt\/Garage Rock band <\/span><b><a href=\"\">FLEETS<\/a><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The four-piece formed back in December 2014 and have developed some rather interesting band interests including arm wrestling with Chas &amp; Dave (if you\u2019re reading this guys, please explain). As well as doing that, these guys make some sweet music which touches on tons of different genres.
