If you want an escape from the deceivingly cold weather, get yourself down to one of these awesome gigs. There\u2019s an Acoustic showcase up in Kimberley, an EP launch at <strong><a href=\"\">The Loom<\/a><\/strong>, and a co-headline show at <strong><a href=\"\">The Chameleon<\/a><\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>THURSDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Kimberley Sessions are back at the <strong>Nelson and Railway<\/strong> this Thursday, and they\u2019re bringing with them a whole heap of acoustic goodness.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"\"><strong>CIBELE<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0will be stunning with her distinctive and mesmerising Folk-esque tunes. We\u2019re still waiting on Cib to get some recordings together, as she sounds incredible live, but sometimes ya just want a bit of beauty on your Yellow Line bus journey, you know? Anyways, until that happens, make sure ya pop on down to catch her doing her thaang.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"\"><strong>JIMI MACK<\/strong><\/a> will be bringing his super-cool Alt-Indie\/Folk vibes to the stage. Armed with some stellar songwriting and a whole lot of swagger, Jimi has been causing quite a few turned heads recently. For good reason though &#8211; I mean, he puts on an ace live performance. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"\"><strong>KALLI ASHTON<\/strong><\/a>, one of Notts\u2019 finest purveyors of Country will also be popping along to astound with her lovely little ditties. She released her debut EP at the end of last year, and we still find ourselves singing some of those super catchy melodies from time to time. If ya want an idea of what to expect, check her <a href=\"\"><strong>Future Session<\/strong><\/a>, and then catch her live once you get your bum off the computer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>BILL KERRY III<\/strong> of <a href=\"\"><strong>DH LAWRENCE &amp; THE VAUDEVILLE SKIFFLE SHOW<\/strong><\/a> fame will be the final act to grace us with his musical masterfulness (that\u2019s a word right?). There doesn\u2019t seem to be any of Bill\u2019s solo stuff floating about on the world wide web, but if it\u2019s any like DL&amp;TVSS (catchy!) we\u2019re sure it\u2019ll be bloody brilliant.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Nelson and Railway<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thursday 3rd March<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 8.00pm<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tickets: Free<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>FRIDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"\">IDLE EMPIRE<\/a><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are launching their debut self-titled EP on Friday night at <strong>The Loom<\/strong>. The five-piece bring along a couple of guitars, a violin, a double bass, some drums and a harmonica to create some incredible Indie Folk, accompanied by some straight-talking lyrics. If you can\u2019t wait till Friday to hear what\u2019s on the EP, head over to their soundcloud where you can hear a sneaky three tracks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"\">PAUL NOSE<\/a><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will be supporting on Friday night. The Italian-born singer-songwriter who has found his home in Notts. His Post-Psychedelic songs will get you feeling all warm inside with his positive outlook (perfect for this not so warm weather, huh?).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Also supporting are <\/span><b>Scribble Victory<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from Derby.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>The Loom<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Friday 4th March<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 7.30pm<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tickets: FREE<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"\">MANNEQUIN<\/a><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b><a href=\"\">AUTUMN DIET PLANS<\/a><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are kicking off their co-headline weekend tour with a hometown show on Friday. They\u2019re hitting Nottingham, Leeds and then Bristol across the weekend. Brace yourselves for a very sweaty, lively Chameleon (not that kind of chameleon, THE Chameleon you sausage. Can a chameleon even sweat?).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Psychedelic Space Rock four-piece, <\/span><b><a href=\"\">AUTUMN DIET PLANS<\/a><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, will be first to take to the stage. Their self-described \u201cShouty Grungey Gazeyness\u201d is influenced by 90s bands, from <strong>Smashing Pumpkins<\/strong> to <strong>The Pixies<\/strong>. They released their latest EP &#8211; \u00a0\u2018<em>Red \/ Yellow<\/em>\u2019 &#8211; \u00a0in January, which is available to buy on cassette in Red AND Yellow. Clever stuff, ay?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bringing more energy to their sets than an explosion at a nuclear power station, are Ben, Joe and Sid of <\/span><b><a href=\"\">MANNEQUIN<\/a><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
