Within the first two seconds you\u2019re thrown in at the deep end, and you\u2019ll be swimming for a long time before you can even begin to think about reaching shallow water. Drums, vocal, guitar and all of it L O U D.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They kick things off with their latest single \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Good As Dead<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u201d The most accessible track on the album &#8211; guitarist Matt Reynolds described it as <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a big, hooky pop song to get us big and famous. Basically, this is as close to Paradise City as you\u2019re going to get from us. Enjoy.<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d If their dance moves in the video are anything to go by, these guys definitely have what it takes to become next level superstars. That choreography man, it\u2019s something to rival the likes of <strong>Beyonce\u2019s<\/strong> &#8220;<em>Single Ladies<\/em>&#8220;. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The energy only builds from there, it\u2019s like climbing some sort of ever-lasting energy escalator. And as soon as you think it\u2019s about to calm down<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">you get another punch in the face with a ton of very loud, but beautifully crafted noise.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Great Hardcore Swindle\u201d <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">really gives a showcase of all the individual elements the band has to offer. The guitar, the drums, the bass and even the backing vocal get their time to shine\u00a0in the song. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They may have changed their name from <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Baby Godzilla <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(damn you, Japanese film company) but that monster is definitely still present within them, kicking and screaming. And there is nothing baby-like about it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Don\u2019t Touch That Dial\u201d <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">makes you want to stay as far away from that dial as possible. But then, things slow down. You think &#8220;maybe it wouldn\u2019t be too bad if I did touch it&#8221;. Oh wait, there\u2019s some seriously eerie noises. Never mind, let\u2019s not risk it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Then \u201c<em>The Breakers<\/em>\u201d delivers another punch, right to\u00a0the earlobe. You can see people losing limbs in a mosh to this, but, you know, enjoying it at the same time. It\u2019s definitely one to make a live crowd go crazy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The tenth and final track on the album is made up of three smaller tracks; &#8220;<em>I. See The Old Lady Decently&#8221;<\/em>, &#8220;<em>II. Buried Although&#8221;\u00a0<\/em>and the 13 minute long &#8220;<em>III. Amongst Those Left Are You&#8221;<\/em>. The final track shows a more delicate side to the band\u2019s sound, exhibiting the instruments and talent that the band have to offer.
