The Easter Bunny isn\u2019t just\u00a0bringing you a hella ton of chocolate. This year he\u2019ll be bringing you a load of gigs too, you lucky sods. There\u2019s a headline show at The Hockley Arts Club<\/a><\/strong>, a Hip-Hop celebration at Rough Trade<\/a><\/strong> and a Springtime Bonanza at the Free Seasons<\/a><\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

TUESDAY<\/b><\/p>\n

GEORGIE<\/a><\/strong> is back in her homeland this week after supporting our very own JAKE BUGG<\/a><\/strong> at his four London shows last week. The Mansfield gal signed to Columbia Records is in the middle of her seven date UK tour, showing her country twanged West Coast American style to the rest of the nation. She\u2019s just released an acoustic version of her track \u2018This Ain\u2019t Heaven\u2019 so if you can\u2019t wait till Tuesday, you know where to go.<\/span><\/p>\n

RYAN FARMER<\/a><\/b> will be bringing his \u201ctales of whisky, women and worry\u201d in his modern take on Americana. The gravelly vocal of Ryan combined with his soulful guitar create raw bluesy country that sound like they come from the other side of the Atlantic.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fresh from the release of his \u2018Oh, My Heart<\/em>\u2019 EP three weeks ago <\/span>JAMIE MOON<\/a><\/b> is back on stage supporting Georgie. His upbeat Acoustic Folk infused with beautiful melodies is sure to have ya swooning all over the place.<\/span><\/p>\n

Can\u2019t Stop Won\u2019t Stop<\/strong> <\/a>(CSWS) are back on Sunday to celebrate all things Hip-Hop for an Easter Special. Not only is there a ton of live music, there\u2019s a load of DJ sets, great food and film screenings happening throughout the day. And if that wasn\u2019t good enough for you, you can also get your trainers customised (fancy stuff, eh?).<\/span><\/p>\n

EARLY BIRD<\/a><\/b> will be providing the beats on his MPC machine. Member of Educated Foolz, <\/span>J LITTLES <\/b><\/a>will be showcasing his slick sound and wordsmithery. He recently released his debut music video for \u2018<\/span>The System<\/span><\/i>\u2019 on SBTV, it\u2019s definitely one to check out. With over 200,000 YouTube views, plays on Radio 1Xtra for Mistajam <\/span>GARTON<\/a> <\/b>is becoming a bit of a Hip-Hop veteran. He just released his latest EP \u2018When You Know What\u2019s Real<\/em>\u2019 on SoundCloud, so check that out. 16 year old <\/span>LIA WHITE<\/a><\/b> will be bringing along her beautiful soulful voice. She\u2019s been putting up covers on YouTube for just over a year now, so we can\u2019t wait to hear some original stuff. <\/span>POTENT C<\/b>, <\/span>CRIMINAL DIPLOMACY<\/b> and <\/span>A-DEE<\/b> will also be performing.<\/span><\/p>\n

SUNDAY<\/strong><\/p>\n

BadtimeforBonzo\u2019s<\/strong><\/a> Springtime Bonanza (bet you can\u2019t say that three times quickly) is happening at Free Seasons<\/strong> on Easter Sunday and there are countless Notts acts performing throughout the day across two stages.<\/span><\/p>\n

THE DAMN HEAVY<\/b><\/a> are headlining the event next Sunday. They will make you want to sip your sorrows away, nursing a rather large whisky to the sound of their Soul, Garage, Stoner Rock influenced Blues. <\/span>THE HIJINKS<\/a><\/b> will take you on a Funk Odyssey laden with Psychedelic Blues. They only played their first gig last month but they\u2019re already sounding awesome. The super cool, been in NME, (not quite, but almost) all girl <\/span>BABE PUNCH<\/a> <\/b>are playing on Sunday. Bringing Alternative Rock drenched with Grunge and Punk influences, layered with rough but refined riffs and angsty lyrics. Check out their Future Session<\/a> for a taste of what to expect. You can catch the Psychedelic Funk, 70\u2019s Soul inspired Rock band <\/span>SUBWAY CIRCUS<\/a><\/b>. The four-piece released their debut EP \u2018All Alone\u2019 last year after forming back in 2011. Four-piece, <\/span>THE MITHERED<\/a><\/b> will be performing their 90s inspired Indie Rock. Expect contagious choruses and infectious hooks (you may need to find a doctor too). <\/span>THE SHERWINS<\/a><\/b> come from all across the country but have found their home in Notts. The five-piece take their own individual music tastes and have amalgamated them together to make their own unique and varying sound. <\/span>THE CHASE<\/a><\/b> will also be performing. They formed back in 2007 when most of the band hadn\u2019t even reached double figures in age. Their nine\u00a0years together has led them to create super tight Indie Rock & Roll that you won\u2019t want to miss.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the outside stage you\u2019ll be able to catch <\/span>HOLLY TAYLOR GAMBLE<\/a><\/b>, <\/span>JINDA BIANT BLUES<\/a><\/b>, <\/span>GUISEPPE VENTURINO<\/a><\/b>, <\/span>EVIE MARLOW<\/b><\/a> and <\/span>DANIEL ISON<\/a><\/b>. What more could you ask for on a sunny (hopefully) Easter Sunday?<\/span><\/p>\n
