This week includes a Grime night at <strong><a href=\"\">The Bodega<\/a><\/strong>, a bunch of loved and unplugged artists at <strong><a href=\"%20loom%20muse\">The Loom<\/a><\/strong> and a\u00a0\u2018Mash Up Party\u2019 band at <strong><a href=\"\">The Contemporary<\/a><\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>WEDNESDAY <\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Coming at you in full force (insert *POW* sound), Rebound #3 is back at <strong>The Bodega<\/strong> with one of Notts&#8217; finest MC crews. Prepare yourself as <strong><a href=\"\">MEZ<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"\">SNOWY<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"\">KYEZA<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and <strong><a href=\"\">JDOT<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0will UNDOUBTEDLY deliver some of the fiercest bars in Hoodtown. Having already carved their own groove in the UK Grime scene, these boys are making some huge grimey waves.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Providing the beats will be duo <strong>BeatGeeks<\/strong> (don\u2019t be fooled there\u2019s nothing speccy about these two). Having started out at Nottingham\u2019s beloved Out Da Ville studios, Elreezy and Blenda are quickly becoming an East Midlands\u2019 production powerhouse. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Headlining is Grime, Hip-Hop artist <strong>Big H<\/strong> from London and Cleveland based rapper <strong>Doey Boy<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>The Bodega<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Entry: \u00a35 early bird, \u00a37 standard, more otd<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 11pm<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">18 +<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>THURSDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Live and unplugged there\u2019s no other place to be than <strong>The Loom<\/strong> this Thursday to hear some raw Nottingham talent.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Headlining are\u00a0the fashionable Mod looking, Beatles inspired, Alt four-piece <strong><a href=\"\">AMULET<\/a><\/strong>. Having started out as duo Joe &amp; Mike, this awesome foursome packs\u00a0double the punch. Stating their set \u2018should be pretty chill, bring your own Netflix\u2019 I wouldn\u2019t quite jump for the popcorn yet &#8211; these boys are more than just leather jackets and polo necks. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">St Anns\u2019, Rock\u2019n\u2019Roll All-Stars,\u00a0<strong><a href=\"\">THE CHASE<\/a><\/strong>, are also on the bill and it will be interesting to see what they do with an acoustic set. Recognised usually for their rocky Oasis-esque sound, will we see a more downbeat, melancholic Alex Turner-like performance? Who knows but with a noisy fan base and a performance at Rock City as an <strong>#FSN2015<\/strong> finalist under their belt, you won\u2019t want to miss it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bringing their unique twist of Indie to The Loom are\u00a0<strong><a href=\"\">THE YOUNG<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0(I wonder how that will sound in 30 years). Jesse Breame\u2019s punchy voice isn\u2019t one to mess with and with two self-titled EPs and a string of shows to their name, neither is the band. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sure to be sprinkling her ethereal sound is Sandiacre songstress <strong><a href=\"\">BILLIE<\/a><\/strong>. We recently had her in for a Future Session &#8211; if you missed it, check it out <\/span><strong><a href=\"\">HERE<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0&#8211; and she enchanted the room. Billie\u2019s haunting melodies and powerful songwriting puts her far beyond her years. Nottingham\u2019s very own Florence Welch, this 17 year-old is the pearl to Nottingham\u2019s clam (not sure how that sounds) and\u00a0we can\u2019t wait to see where she goes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>The Loom<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 7pm<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Free entry<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>SATURDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What do you get when you put nine\u00a0young, spirited, hippy-esque\u00a0musicians together? <strong><a href=\"\">UNKNOWN ERA<\/a><\/strong> of course. Nottingham\u2019s best loved Ska, Reggae, Hip-Hop, Gypsy (and whatever else you want to throw in there) mashup band are coming to the end of their UK tour and you don\u2019t want to miss out. Described as not just bringing the party but BEING the party, this show is sure to be a knees up affair so don\u2019t forget your dancing shoes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Supporting is 16-year-old YouTube diva <strong><a href=\"\">LIA WHITE<\/a><\/strong>. Getting over 17,000 views on a video isn\u2019t bad but topping\u00a0that off with loads of recent gigs is how to get your name out there.
