We have <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>HARLEIGHBLU\u2019S<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> album release show on Wednesday, the freshest Hip Hop, Rap and Grime talent from <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>YMCA<\/b> <b>Digital<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on Thursday and to top it all off <\/span><a href=\"\"><strong>THE INVISIBLE ORCHESTRA<\/strong><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"\"><strong>\u2019S<\/strong> <\/a>long awaited album launch on Saturday &#8211; we\u2019re so \u2018effin excited!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>WEDNESDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><strong>HARLEIGHBLU<\/strong><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> started writing songs aged seven, working with producers aged twelve, signed a record deal with <\/span><b>Tru Thoughts<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> aged 21, released a debut album \u2018<em>Forget Me Not<\/em>\u2019 aged 22 and nooooow at the ripe old age of 24 is about to release \u2018<em>Futurespective<\/em>\u2019 &#8211; an accumulation of tracks from her acclaimed \u2018<em>Futurespective<\/em>\u2019 digital EP series and a previously unreleased track. Charting a move into a more Electronic infused sound, Harls keeps pushing the boundaries whilst still retaining a soulful, gritty, Winehouse-esque core. Just back from supporting <\/span><b>Hot 8 Brass Band<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the show will unveil the beauty and bones behind our queen of Hip-Hop and Soul. It\u2019ll also probably make you wanna pre-order her CD &#8211; just sayin. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Rough Trade<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 7pm<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Entry: free<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>THURSDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fancy hearing some dope Hip Hop and Rap from Nottingham\u2019s young and upcoming? Well <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>YMCA Digital<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are back presenting the showcase performance from The Young Promoters project. Based in New Basford and Long Eaton, <a href=\"\"><strong>YMCA Digital<\/strong> <\/a>have been delivering weekly music sessions to young people and igniting raw talent. In fact, we\u00a0first heard our most recent <\/span><b>Future Session<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> artist <\/span><a href=\";ref=br_tf\"><b>A-DEE<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0(FS out 13\/06\/16) at one of these nights.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You\u2019ll also get a chance to hear from <strong><a href=\"\">YMCA Digital<\/a><\/strong> staff <\/span><b><a href=\"\">BRU-C<\/a>, <a href=\"\">RAPHAEL BLAKE<\/a><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>MOTORMOUF<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> amongst others. A lyrical firestorm, <strong><a href=\"\">BRU-C<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0has become well established in the UK Grime scene. Having played at festivals such as <\/span><b>Outlook<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>Boomtown<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, he&#8217;s also supported the likes of <\/span><b>Dizzee Rascal<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>Katy B<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. His new track \u2018<em>GVNMNT [politics as usual]<\/em>\u2019 is razor sharp and evokes feelings first felt when we heard <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>SCORZAYZEE&#8217;S<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"\">\u00a0<\/a>\u2018<em>Great Britain<\/em>\u2019. Raphael is \u2018more than poetry, more than poetry, more than poetry\u2019. Get the picture? His spoken word can be layered over Neo-Soul vibes, Drum and Bass music or even House beats but nothing takes away from the essence of what is &#8211; the words. The words from this former Mouthy Poet leaves nothing to be said\u2026 apart from <a href=\"\"><strong>RAPAEL BLAKE<\/strong><\/a>. Get to know. Beatbox pundit <a href=\"\"><strong>MOTORMOUF<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0has energy levels only Duracell bunnies possess. Armed with a mic, loop pedal and a crowd, he becomes unstoppable. Two years in the making, this album has been a labour of love for Nottingham\u2019s most notorious ensemble. Even getting together to rehearse can turn into a raucous affair when you have insane vocalists, a grammy award winning Hammond organist, saxophonists, tubists, sousaphonist, trumpeters, cornets, drummers, double-bassists, percussionists, congaists, guitarists, a pianist, string quartet players and trombonists (*she gasps*). Straddling Funk, Soul, Afrobeat, Latin and more, <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>THE INVISIBLE ORCHESTRA<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are a vortex of sound that makes it impossible to sit down. Huge, badass brass sections, a high-impact rhythm core, soulful vocals and down and dirty funk beats &#8211; it\u2019s orchestral gold I tell you. On the night they\u2019ll be collaborating with rapping Stalwart <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>SCORZAYZEE<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and current world DJ Champion <\/span><b>Mr Switch<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0&#8211; it will be LIVEEE!
