From Pop-Rock EP launches, to Grime Battles, and some Indie Rock n Roll too&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><b>FRIDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>FOR THE GIRL<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> have a new EP on that there horizon, so they\u2019re throwing a proper little launch party to celebrate. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">FTG (boys are welcome too) are a band that make very good Pop-Rock, and when we say very good &#8211; we mean VERY good. Super slick, packed full of punchy choruses and ridiculously catchy melodies. They give bands like <strong>The 1975<\/strong> a good run for their money, minus that annoying frontman. These guys actually have a pretty ace frontman, if ya were wondering. To get a proper feel for what the band are about, watch their latest <a href=\"\">video<\/a>, it\u2019s really quite something\u2026 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>THE CHASE <\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will be kicking off the evening with their Indie Alt-Rock. If you think the name sounds familiar, they have been around for bleddy ages, even though they\u2019re only in their late teens. They build a massive wall of sound, top it off with plenty of rockstar swagger and make some huge tunes. Start as you mean to go on and all that. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>THE MOCKING JAYS <\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will also be joining the party with their super catchy Pop-Rock. One listen to latest single <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Boyfriend and <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">you\u2019ll be *CLICHE ALERT* dancing all over the place. Despite only being together a short number of years, they\u2019ve got tons of tunes in their back catalogue that\u2019ll be in yer head for ages!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>THE HARMONICS<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> return to <strong><a href=\"\">Bodega<\/a><\/strong> to support FTG too with their 60s inspired Pop-Rock. Have a cheeky look at their Future Session if ya wanna know what to expect; but summarised &#8211; super catchy guitar riffs, short punchy songs, and a rather charismatic frontman too.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If ya don\u2019t wanna become a rockstar yourself by the end of this gig, there\u2019s something wrong with ya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>The Bodega<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Price: \u00a35<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 6:30pm <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>FRIDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>Clash Money <\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is back at <a href=\"\"><strong>Market Bar<\/strong><\/a> this Friday for Market Barz 2. There\u2019s gonna be loads of battles popping off, plus some ace live performances too. You can get full deets on the battles <a href=\"\"><strong>HERE<\/strong><\/a>, deets on who ya can see performing below.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"\"><strong>0115 MOB<\/strong><\/a> will be bringing massive energy as the collective takes over Market Bar. You can hear the diverse sounds that the members bring to the group over on their Soundcloud <a href=\"\"><strong>HERE<\/strong><\/a>. You may have heard him tearing up 1Xtra recently, and now ya can catch him in person &#8211; <a href=\"\"><strong>SNOWY<\/strong><\/a>, one of Notts\u2019 Grime leaders will be showing up on the night too.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Market Bar<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Price: \u00a38<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 9pm<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>SATURDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>THE RUFFS <\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">are also taking over <\/span><b>The Bodega <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">this week for their own headline show. Fronted by <\/span><b>CONNOR SPRAY<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, you\u2019ll probably have heard of this lot, cos they put the work in. With a very distinctive sound, the band slip between beaut Verve-esque ballad\u2019s and huge soaring Indie anthems at ease. We\u2019re sure this\u2019ll be a rowdy performance in the best possible way!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Supporting are <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>THE FLAVELLS<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, fresh outta Clifton and with something to prove &#8211; these gents haven\u2019t played too many gigs yet, but they\u2019re already sounding ridiculously tight as a band. Kinda Folky, kinda Rock &amp; Roll, and kinda straight out Rock.
