Eclectic is definitely the word to describe this week\u2019s T3. And we don\u2019t mean that in the lame \u201coh I don\u2019t really like it so let\u2019s call it \u2018different\u2019\u201d kind of eclectic. We mean, Notts continues to prove how awesome it is across the genres, cos there\u2019s something for everyone this week…<\/span><\/p>\n

THURSDAY<\/b><\/p>\n

Future Bubblers<\/b><\/a>,<\/a> the talent discovery and development project, led by <\/span>Brownswood Music<\/b> is one year old now, and to celebrate – they\u2019re showing us all what they\u2019ve been up to this past twelve months…<\/span><\/p>\n

All the Year One artists will be down to perform, but, as we only care about Notts, let’s chat about them\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

YAZMIN LACEY<\/b><\/a> will deliver her soulful acoustic vibes to the evening. Think of every Soul great you\u2019ve ever sat down, listened to, and gone \u201cwow, this is\u2026 incredible\u201d – Yazmin is basically Notts\u2019 answer to that. <\/span>THREE BODY TRIO<\/a><\/b> are, as the name would hint, three humans who make up a very unique concoction of Electronic-y, Jazz-y, and many other things ending in -y. And, believe us when we say, they put on a mesmerising live show. <\/span><\/p>\n

SNOWY<\/a><\/b>, Notts\u2019 \u201cGrime Saviour\u201d will also be bringing the fire on Thursday eve. If somehow you haven\u2019t heard of this Grime powerhouse, his <\/span>\u2018Knots\u2019<\/span><\/i> EP is an awesome introduction. <\/span>MEDIKUL<\/b><\/a> will be bringing the \u201cbass and beats\u201d, with some very eclectic samples. And <\/span>CONGI<\/b><\/a> will bring their sick, dubby minimal beats too.<\/span><\/p>\n

Non-Notts folk Kid Katharsis, Munro, Revenu <\/strong>and Thru Colours<\/strong> will also be performing.<\/span><\/p>\n

FRIDAY<\/b><\/p>\n

The loveable noise-makers that are <\/span>KAGOULE<\/b><\/a> have kinda come full circle. Back in 2011 they played their first ever gig at The Maze<\/strong><\/a>, and now, in July of 2016, they\u2019re headlining it again to show everyone how far they\u2019ve come. <\/span><\/p>\n

If the name doesn\u2019t ring bells, you have definitely heard KAGOULE<\/strong><\/a>. Not just cos they play very loud, but cos they\u2019ve been making an awesome storm recently, playing some sweeeeeet gigs, and putting out a belter of a debut album last year. \u2018Alt-Rock\u2019 is the genre that their Facebook page has self-proclaimed them as, and whilst it does a decent job at summing up their sound, they\u2019re definitely a band you need to experience live for yourself\u2026 So do it. Buy a ticket. Ya lazy sod. <\/span><\/p>\n

Supporting (Notts wise at least) we have a band called BAG<\/strong>. Yup, BAG<\/strong>. We don\u2019t know if that\u2019s an acronym, or if they just have a passion for being able to carry things, but we can\u2019t find much out about them online at all. According to the event page, it\u2019s their debut gig\u2026 ahh, that\u2019ll be why. If KAGOULE<\/strong><\/a> love \u2018em, we\u2019re sure they\u2019ll be ace. <\/span><\/p>\n

Gang<\/strong> and Fuoco<\/strong> from Brighton will also be performing. <\/span><\/p>\n

SATURDAY<\/b><\/p>\n

In September, Broad Street is getting took over for this ace new festival called Broad Fest<\/strong><\/a>. It sees a ton of promoters take over, putting on a day of all round loveliness including music, food and lots of other shizzle. Cos the promoters know we can\u2019t all wait that long, they\u2019re putting on a warm up party in a secret location (ooh) and you\u2019re invited. <\/span><\/p>\n

ORIGIN ONE & HI-DEF<\/strong><\/a> will be bringing the dubby Reggae vibes. They recently had their single \u2018Mi Bredrin<\/em>\u2019 played on 1Xtra<\/strong> and it\u2019s no surprise, it\u2019s a banger. These guys know how to get the party started. YOUTHORACLE<\/strong><\/a> will be tearing up the venue with his intense energy and bars, whilst CONGI<\/strong><\/a> will be providing some minimal Dub-styley beats. METAPHI<\/strong><\/a> will bring an eclectic mix of vibes, ranging from Techno to Jungle. You\u2019ll also find RUBBERDUB SOUNDSYSTEM<\/strong><\/a> doing what they do best – err, bossing it on all different kinds of Bass genres. <\/span><\/p>\n
