Photo Credit: Unknown<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nottingham is about to embark on a huge 48 hours for the Notts music scene. Not only is there one massive, sold out festival at Batman\u2019s pad, a load of Nottingham\u2019s young musicians will be taking on the <strong>Royal Albert Hall<\/strong> for the Proms. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nottingham\u2019s biggest music event, attracting an incredible 25,000 people (the biggest number to date), <a href=\"\"><strong>Splendour<\/strong><\/a> is taking place this Saturday. And better yet, 13 Notts musicians will be playing across the three main stages at the festival on what will (fingers crossed) be a beautifully sunny day.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Opening up the Main Stage are <strong><a href=\"\">FSN<\/a><\/strong> champs <a href=\"\"><strong>SUPER FURNITURE<\/strong><\/a>. Going from playing the <a href=\"\"><strong>Rock City <\/strong><\/a>Main Stage to opening up a huge, sold out festival, the SF boys will be playing to tons of people on the biggest stage in Nottingham.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It\u2019s hard to imagine that the weekend could get any better than that, but the <strong>County Youth Arts<\/strong>\u2019 Able Orchestra are set to play at the world famous <a href=\"\"><strong>BBC Proms<\/strong><\/a>, broadcast across not one, but two national radio stations AND if you\u2019re down with the kids you can even catch them on CBBC.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pupils from Fountaindale Specialist SEN School and Outwood Academy Portland will be heading down the M1 to play at the legendary<strong> Royal Albert Hall<\/strong> to perform <em>Ten Pieces II<\/em>. The Able Orchestra is a project set up by the <strong>County Youth Arts<\/strong> to allow young people with additional needs to create and perform music and celebrate their creativity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-16376\" src=\"\" alt=\"IndianaSplendour\" width=\"640\" height=\"426\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Whilst all of that is taking place in big ol\u2019 London, this end\u00a0of the M1 acts from all across Nottingham will be playing at a sunny Splendour. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With\u00a0some big love from both Radio 1 and 1Xtra, <a href=\"\"><strong>ADY SULEIMAN <\/strong><\/a>will be playing the Main Stage straight after SF. You can catch three\u00a0of Nottingham\u2019s finest <strong><a href=\"\">EYRE LLEW<\/a>,<\/strong>\u00a0<strong><a href=\"\">THESE YOUR CHILDREN<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>AND the recently added <a href=\"\"><strong>#FSN2016<\/strong><\/a> runners up <strong><a href=\"\">BABE PUNCH<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>on the Confetti Stage.
