And, on top of that, we&#8217;ve got a Jazzy EP launch, and a Stoner Doom Rock album launch. Notts &#8211; you eclectic beauty, you.<\/p>\n<p><b>SATURDAY <\/b><\/p>\n<p>Fancy a bit of funky Jazz in your life? Well, lucky reader, we\u2019ve got just the gig for you then. <a href=\"\"><strong>ZOO<\/strong><\/a> are back after a three year absence with a new release, well, multiple releases actually. The Nu-Jazz band have been working on a bunch of EP\u2019s, the first of which (\u2018<em>Shoot<\/em>\u2019) you can get your grubby mitts on this Saturday. But that\u2019s not all reader, oh no, whilst you will only be able to buy the first EP this Sat, the band are treating ya to live previews of EP #2. Ain\u2019t they kind to you?<\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"\">Nottingham Contemporary<\/a><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Saturday 8th October<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Price: Free<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 8pm <\/span><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b>SATURDAY <\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"\"><strong>BAD MEN<\/strong><\/a> take over <a href=\"\"><strong>The Angel<\/strong><\/a> this Sat. That is not a dodgy headline from the Daily Mail, but in fact a true statement. More context &#8211; Nottingham two-piece, Stoner-Rockers <a href=\"\"><strong>BAD MEN<\/strong><\/a> are launching their album at <strong>The Angel &#8211; Microbrewery<\/strong> establishment. Got it? Good &#8211; cos these guys are ACE. Proper in your face heavy riffs, distortion for days and almost Prog like vocals. They\u2019re throwing this little shindig to celebrate the launch of their new album \u2018<em>Honeymoon<\/em>\u2019 &#8211; and from what we\u2019ve heard, it\u2019s gonna be MASSIVE. Get down. Mosh. It is the weekend after all. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Notts support comes courtesy of <a href=\"\"><strong>DARK MOTHER<\/strong><\/a>, who make super happy Indie-Folk tunes\u2026 just kidding, of course they don\u2019t, they make Psychedelic Stoner Doom Rock. Had ya for a second didn\u2019t I? Similar to <a href=\"\"><strong>BAD MEN<\/strong><\/a>, this two-piece make epic soundscapes that make ya wanna do a slow mosh, throw your fist in the air, and probably do some form of inaudible scream. Which charities? &#8211;<strong> CYF Project, Dolly\u2019s Imagination Library, Equation, Framework, John Van Geest Cancer Research Centre, Nottingham Rethink, plus Refugee Forum. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No matter what genre you\u2019re into, there\u2019s 112% gonna be something for you at the Hustle. There\u2019s 300 freakin\u2019 artists playing! Now obvs there\u2019s no way we could write about them all in this Top Three, as that would be less a preview, and more a dissertation.
