Photo Credit:<\/strong> Chris Clough<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We\u2019ve spent the past fifteen minutes tryna come up with a lame Halloween themed joke to start this Top Three, but it was a spooktacular failure. Good thing there\u2019s plenty of ace Notts music to write about then, init? <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This week sees some pretty epic shows for a number of bands. Read alllllll about it below.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>WEDNESDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>FIELD STUDIES<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; the brooding, incredibly talented, almost like Radiohead with a slice of fuzzy misery band, take over <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>The Bodega <\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">for a headline show this week, and it is gonna be all kinds of EPIC. You\u2019ve probably heard of the phrase \u201cwall of sound\u201d, well that\u2019s exactly what FS create. A massive wall of sound that engulfs your eardrums, your mind, and probably some other nondescript parts of your body too. Incredible sonic backdrops, paired with one of the most haunting, and beautiful vocals you\u2019ll ever hear. And we hear they\u2019ve been working on lots of new music. We. Cannot. Wait.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pssst, there\u2019s some supports to be announced shortly too. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><b><br \/>\nThe Bodega<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wednesday 2nd November<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 7pm<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Price: \u00a37.75<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>WEDNESDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>Rough Trade<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are back again with their \u2018Live Triple Bill\u2019 series, where, get this &#8211; they bring three, live acts, together to perform for you. See what they did there?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kicking things off this week are the eclectic Indie soundscapes of <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>SONDER<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. She is an incredible live artist. Guitar riffs for days, some proper foot-stomping moments, and then that voice &#8211; THAT VOICE MAAAAAAN. It\u2019s kinda haunting and soothing at the same time. And she already has a bunch of ridiculously catchy tunes, too. Check out her Future Session <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>HERE<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, to see what we mean.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">#FSN2016 champs <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>SUPER FURNITURE<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are up next. The \u2018Alternative\u2019 band have been putting the bloody work in, ain\u2019t they? They seem to be gigging 64 times a week\u2026 okay, maybe not that many but ya get the point. These fellas are putting in the effort and it shows, including in their songwriting. Have a listen to new single \u2018Sleepless\u2019 to hear how they\u2019re developing\u2026 I\u2019m off to go and impersonate Herbie\u2019s falsetto. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Headlining we have Indie Rock n Roll three-piece <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>SAME STREETS<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Loved by <\/span><b>Fred Perry<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>This Feeling<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and basically anyone who\u2019s anyone in Indie music &#8211; these gents are on their way to big tingalings. Punchy, full of rockstar swagger, and with some ridiculously catchy melodies too. these guys will give you full-on rockstar envy. The only way to compete &#8211; make sure you show off some top level air guitar!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Rough Trade<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wednesday 2nd November<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 7pm<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Price: free<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>FRIDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This Friday, <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>CROSA ROSA<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> join a small number of Notts artists to headline <\/span><b>Rescue Rooms <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">main stage, and they\u2019re bringing <\/span><b>AUTUMN DIET PLANS<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> along for the ride too.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>CROSA ROSA<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> engulf us into a fuzzy psychedelic wonderland, full of distortion, riffs a plenty, and some damn pretty dresses too (<\/span><a href=\";app=desktop\"><b>CONTEXT<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">). And they\u2019re proper rockstars &#8211; they have a HUGE stage presence, so we\u2019re proper buzzing to see them take on that RR main stage. Oh &#8211; and try and get their new single out of your head. We\u2019ve been looking very odd as we walk down the street screeching \u201cWALK LIKE A LADY\u201d. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>AUTUMN DIET PLANS <\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">also bring the fuzz and riffs, slight difference with these guys though &#8211; they\u2019re from space\u2026 no, really. They landed from the International Space Station a few months ago and since they\u2019ve been chilling down here on planet Earth, making riff-heavy jams for us all to lose our minds too.
