It\u2019s even rarer for one venue to feature in all three gigs. But, <a href=\"\"><strong>Rough Trade<\/strong><\/a> have absolutely BOSSED IT this week, with killer gigs going off almost every night. Below are three that you should definitely get yersen involved with. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>MONDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>CHERRY HEX &amp; THE DREAM CHURCH <\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">are releasing their EP \u2018<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tea of Tears\u2019<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> this week, and what better way to celebrate than\u2026 A LAUNCH PARTY. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yup &#8211; the minimal Electro-Pop duo have been *football manager impression* putting the work in this year. And, in the last twelve months have gone from initial demos, to a complete change in sound, gigs practically every other day, and now &#8211; the release of their debut EP. They\u2019ve described themselves as \u2018weird Pop music\u2019, and we\u2019d agree &#8211; but the good weird, the interesting weird, the \u201cooh, I haven\u2019t heard this before but I really like it and I\u2019m gonna be singing this for daaaays\u201d kinda weird. Ya feel me? <\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>LUKE PETER FOSTER <\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will bring his \u2018Alternative Rap\u2019 to the stage pre CH. LPF has a thing for spacey Hip-Hop beats. And they\u2019ll hook you in from the second the beat drops. That\u2019s even before his word play takes ahold of your mind. Have a listen to his Soundcloud to get what we mean, and let him transport you to a spacey intellectual paradise. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>GEORGINA WOOD<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will also support with her DIY Pop sounds. She\u2019s released her own debut EP earlier this year, and it\u2019s full of some proper catchy Pop tunes. And similar to the other two artists on the bill, she\u2019s got this really distinctive sound to her productions, which you\u2019ll pick up on pretty much straight away.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Rough Trade<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Monday 5th December<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Price: free<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 7pm<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>TUESDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>SILVER WILSON <\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>THE CHASE <\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">are taking over RT on Tuesday. <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>SILVER WILSON<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are winners of the \u201cmusic that most makes you want to dance and be happy\u201d award dontcha know?.. Okay, that\u2019s not a real award but if it was they would most definitely win it. Sunshine-pop mixed with super catchy guitars and an undeniable groove. *CLICHE* grab yer dancing shoes, you\u2019ll need em.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>THE CHASE<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> bring all the Indie swagger you could ever ask for in a band. In fact, the made-up-by-sam award that they\u2019d probably win is the \u201cmost swaggerful three piece that also has a knack for a catchy melody\u201d award. Probs. Either way, you can expect them to hit ya with a massive wall of sound, which is also gonna get ya moving all over the place. Comfy dancing shoes are probs a good idea. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Rough Trade<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tuesday 6th December<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Price: Free<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 7pm<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>FRIDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong><a href=\"\">Under The Tree<\/a><\/strong> are back for their annual Christmas celebration, and as always, they\u2019re bringing some of Notts finest acoustic talent with them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong><a href=\"\">ELANA<\/a> <\/strong>kicks things off. You may have seen her smash a support slot at <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>BILLIE\u2019s<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> EP launch a few weeks ago, if you didn\u2019t then here\u2019s what you can expect &#8211; beaut singer-songwriter vibes, haunting vocals, and more than a little bit of \u201cI don\u2019t even want to check my phone right now cos I\u2019m so encaptured by her stunning performance\u201d. Got it? Good. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">King of Bluesy Americana <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>RYAN FARMER<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> takes to the stage next, with his foot-stomping singalongs. Transporting you to some deep Westerm movie, he\u2019ll have ya necking Whiskey and going through a right mixed bag of emotions. From euphoric catchy bliss, to heart-churning ballad\u2019s, he can make you feel all the feels. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>DAISY GODFREY<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is up next, paired with guitarist Ryan, they\u2019ll have you hooked in with some proper Soulful Pop-Jazz stylings. Daisy has one of those voices that anyone can appreciate, and guitarist Ryan &#8211; well his fingers move so fast on that fretboard we\u2019re slightly concerned he may not be human. We are not concerned about their ability to blow you away musically though, that\u2019s a given.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Finally, we have <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>VERA GULL<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> taking to the stage. Practically a Notts supergroup of some of the finest Acoustic talent, all thrown into one musical mashup. I was finding them hard to describe, but turns out they did a pretty good job with their own description\u2026 take it away VG &#8211; \u201cdarkness tinged Indie-Pop\u201d.
