Photo Credit:<\/strong> Unknown<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now that even the most scrooge human you\u2019ll find is at least a little bit in the Xmas spirit, there\u2019s plenty of New Notts Music with a hint of Christmas cheer to get him out and about. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>THURSDAY &#8211; SUNDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>Jam Cafe <\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">have got a whole long-weekends worth of musical awesomeness for ya this week, featuring a proper eclectic bunch of Notts muso\u2019s. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There\u2019s so much to get yersen involved with, we\u2019ve summarised just a handful below. Ya can see the whole lineup <\/span><a href=\"\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">HERE<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>DAUDI MATSIKO<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will return to his spiritual home on Thursday. If you\u2019re unfamiliar &#8211; Daudi is responsible for some of the most heart-warming, and heart-breaking Folk songs we have ever heard. Beautifully delicate, he\u2019s full of proper \u201cleave the room silent vibes\u201d. If you plan to talk during his set\u2026 don\u2019t. If you fancy a proper Pop bop, <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>TWIN KIDD<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will have ya bopping all over the place. They\u2019ve only put four studio recordings into the big wide world, but each one of them is full of super catchy melodies and groovy\u2026 well, grooves. <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>CATBONE<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are up on Saturday to give you all the sick riff indulgency you could ever ask for. Whatever your go-to guitar music move is &#8211; whether that\u2019s headbanging, air guitar, maybe a confused little jump? It\u2019ll be coming out in full force to these guys. Finally, on the Sunday\u2026 there are a lot of bands who\u2026 are bloody difficult to find on the web. Even our super-stalking skills (sorry, we mean \u2018researching\u2019) couldn\u2019t find anything on em. But, we\u2019re told they\u2019re a right eclectic bunch who\u2019ll round the weekend off nicely. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Jam Cafe<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thursday 15th December &#8211; Sunday 18th December<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Price: free<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: differs each day, check the FB event. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>FRIDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Everybody\u2019s favourite \u201cband influenced by their local convenience store\u201d are back, and they\u2019re headlining<\/span><a href=\"\"><b> The Bodega <\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">this time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>PAPER SHOP DAVE<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> have got that classic Indie sound nailed. Super catchy guitar riffs, plenty of swagger, and some massive singalong choruses too. Their material is diverse, one second in your face riff-tacular tunes, the next, a more delicate ballad. Awh. Also &#8211; It\u2019s their last show of 2016, so we\u2019re expecting them to go in BIG. Ya know, like Christmas EXPLOSIONS? Maybe. Fingers crossed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>SUPER FURNITURE<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are supporting, rounding off a killer 2016 for them. From releasing debut single \u2018<em>Vultures<\/em>\u2019 (which still sounds just as awesome), becoming champs of #FSN2016, opening Splendour Fest, plus playing loads of cool shows over the past few months. It\u2019s not been a bad yeat for em has it? The Alt-Rock-Indie-Impossible-To-Describe band will help set the tone just right for PSD.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>SHORT WEEKENDS<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are also supporting. Despite being in their mid-teens, these guys have nailed their unique take on Indie. High-energy, full of super catchy riffs, and, some very catchy keyboard lines too. You\u2019ll be doing a good old fashioned hum-along for a good few days. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>The Bodega<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Friday 16th December<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Price: \u00a35<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 7pm<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>SATURDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"\"><strong>Mimm<\/strong><\/a> are having a mega Xmas blowout at <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>Suede Bar<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> this weekend, and they\u2019ve got a killer live lineup to have you ho ho hoing in style. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After they debuted their sick live show a few months ago, <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>CONGI<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are back to showcase their mind-blowing, trippy, Electronic sounds. <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>SHELTER POINT<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will bring their spacey Electronic sounds too. If you\u2019re a fan of them high notes, wait until you hear vocalist Liam\u2019s falsetto. It\u2019s mind-blowing. <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>YAZMIN LACEY &amp; THE ECHOES<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will bring all the soulful vibes ya could ever ask for. Ya know those kinda voices that feel like they can sort out all your problems just by listening? Yeah, she\u2019s got one of them.<\/span><a href=\"\"><b> ELLA KNIGHT<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is gonna keep them Soulful vibes going, on more of an Acoustic tip.
