Lucky you then &#8211; there\u2019s a live showcase at <strong>Rough Trade<\/strong>, a headline show at <strong>The Chameleon<\/strong> and a launch party featuring some cockles (yes, cockles) at <strong>The Angel<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>FRIDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>Phlexx Records<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are showcasing some of their favourite talent at Rough Trade this Friday, including;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>BENJAMIN ZIEC and the RAREBREEDS<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will have their debut performance together. Fronted by producer <\/span><b>TREKKAH<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and featuring members of <\/span><b>THE AFTERDARK MOVEMENT<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, we\u2019re told to expect a unique blend of Folky-Blues.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>DAISY GODFREY<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"\">\u2019<strong>s<\/strong><\/a> incredible vocal is filled with layers of Pop, Jazz and RnB. Her tone can make even the saddest of lyrics feel uplifting with the help of guitarist Ryan. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>HASHTAGOBI<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> dropped his debut album in January and it\u2019s like nothing you\u2019ve heard before. The album takes you through uni life, from student loans, going out and generally not wanting to adult, all over some insanely catchy beats.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>ONKAUR <\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">released her debut EP \u2018<em>First Run\u2019<\/em> late last year filled with a mix of Pop, RnB and hints of Soul and Reggae. Hopefully we\u2019ll get to hear some new originals on Friday night.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Tom Gourlay <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">from Derby is also performing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Rough Trade<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Friday 7th April<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 7pm<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Price: Free<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>SATURDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>THE VARLETTS <\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will be headlining <strong>The Chameleon<\/strong> this Saturday. The trio only formed last year but have already built a following and released their first single. The b-side is a bit <\/span><b>Libertines-<\/b>y<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2018Accused of Effeminacy<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2019 &#8211; imagine Pete Doherty trying to say that.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>SUPER FURNITURE<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are supporting. The four-piece are ready to headbang the life out of the place, expect heavy guitar riffs and anthemic choruses. They\u2019ve just been in the Future Session studios, so keep your eyes (and ears) out for that. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>CAMERON SINCLAIR HARRIS<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is back again at his favourite venue after his EP launch the other week. The Beeston boy spent a year writing and recording his EP \u2018<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Grey Matter<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2019 and is filled with both emotion and \u2018fuck yous\u2019 to the government.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Papayer <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">from Derby are also supporting.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>The Chameleon Arts Cafe<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Saturday 8th April<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 7pm<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Price: \u00a35<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>SUNDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sunday sees the launch of <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>NottsMan<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at <strong>The Angel<\/strong>. After the NottsMan facebook page started two months ago, it has already gained over 8,000 likes. The launch will support Nottingham legend &#8211; Dave The Cockle Man who was recently attacked, which led to the discovery of cancer.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There\u2019ll be a whole load of musicians playing including Hucknall\u2019s finest rock n roller <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>CONNOR SPRAY<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, front man of <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>THE RUFFS<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,. Plus one of Nottingham\u2019s finest beatboxers\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"\"><strong>MOTORMOUF<\/strong><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, whose performance will mesmerise you. On top of that &#8211; there\u2019ll also be a bunch of DJ\u2019s and other unique performances. AND &#8211; it\u2019s only a quid entry.
