Maybe you\u2019re even still finishing off some easter egg choc. There\u2019s a celebration of Notts at <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>The Maze<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, some live Stags and Pheasants in Mansfield and a musical piss up in a brewery.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>TUESDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>Notts in a Nutshell<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is back at The Maze with some great Nottingham talent.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>REBELS GRIN<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will be playing some seriously heavy rock, taking influences from the likes of <\/span><b>Black Sabbath<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>Black Stone Cherry<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The band formed last year and we can\u2019t wait to hear some recordings laid down.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can catch Long Eaton band <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>MODERN GUILT<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> performing their \u2018meticulously crafted\u2019 Alt Rock to The Maze stage. The band used to be called <strong>Rughead<\/strong> but clearly felt some Modern Guilt about it, so changed their name\u2026 nope? Okay no.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>The Frantics<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are also performing, but our journalistic endeavors couldn\u2019t find out anything about em, so get down to find out for yourself.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can also catch<\/span><b> Kings and Bears<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from Lincolnshire.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>The Maze<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tuesday 25th April<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Entry: \u00a33<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 7:30pm<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>FRIDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>StagBandLive<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is kicking off over at the <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>Stag and Pheasant<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in Mansfield. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>WARREN IRELAND<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will be performing with his newly acquired band. Warren makes acoustic Folk Rock, which can only sound even more beaut with a band in tow. You can also catch <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>URBAN RIFF<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, who make some\u2026 well, proper urbany riffs. The band have been playing together for bloody ages so get down to see what they\u2019ve got.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Gazelle<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from Leicester are also playing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Stag and Pheasant, Mansfield<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Friday 28th April<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Entry: \u00a32<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 8:30pm<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>SATURDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It\u2019s time for another Piss Up in a Brewery, the <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>Black Iris Brewery<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to be specific. <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>I\u2019m Not From London <\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">have teamed up with Black Iris to bring you lots of free music and beer. The beer probs isn\u2019t free though. Soz.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>MANNEQUIN<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are back with their first gig for a while, after releasing a load of new music last year. The three piece make Alt Rock with Shoegazey, Psychedelic, Grungey influences. The band merge their individual talents into one dazed sound. We hear they\u2019ve been working on some new songs, so hopefully we\u2019ll get a sneak peek on Saturday.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"\"><b>ISAAC<\/b><\/a> are fresh from the release of their second album \u2018<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Let It Burn<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2019 last month and ready to take on the barrels. Calling themselves \u2018throwback sad punks,\u2019 the band formed back in 2012 and having been making intense, punky guitar riffs ever since.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Avalanche Party<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from Castleton and <\/span><b>Unqualified Nurse Band<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from Derby are also playing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Black Iris Brewery<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Saturday 29th April<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Entry: Free<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 7:30pm<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yours in Love of New Music,<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Katie Beard x<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MODERN GUILT.
