There\u2019s a night of Pop Punk at<\/span><a href=\"%20rooms\"><b> Acoustic Rooms<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, three of <\/span><a href=\"\"><strong>Rough Trade<\/strong><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"\"><strong>\u2019s<\/strong><\/a> Nottingham faves and a <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>NTSU <\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">showcase at <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>The Chameleon<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>MONDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Acoustic Rooms<\/strong> take on Pop Punk this Monday.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>AS DECEMBER FALLS <\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">make noisy, female fronted Pop Punk. The band have had some love from Rock Sound this month, complementing Bethany\u2019s \u2018powerhouse vocals,\u2019 saying the band would be right at home on the Warped Tour.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>SAY THE WORD <\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">have been busy recording some new music and have even recorded a new music video. Maybe we can get an acoustified sneak peek of their upbeat Pop Punk? Yep, acoustified, I\u2019m going with that.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>HOMESICK<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will also be acoustifying their Pop Punk. HS have matured their sound loads over the past year, even since they wowed us in the final of last year\u2019s FSN final. And you definitely don\u2019t wanna miss their dance moves either (they basically do this thing <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00af_(\u30c4)_\/\u00af <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a lot).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can also catch <\/span><b>The<\/b> <b>Ultraviolet<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from Boston.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Rescue Rooms<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Monday 1st May<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 8pm<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Entry: Free<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>WEDNESDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wednesday sees <a href=\"\">Rough Trade<\/a> put on their 10th Triple Bill, choosing three of their fav artists of the month.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">First up are Hucknall\u2019s finest Indie Rock n Rollers<\/span><a href=\"\"><b> THE RUFFS<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The four piece, fronted by Connor Spray, have been making music together since the start of 2015. Their performances are filled with swagger, punchy riffs and storytelling lyricism.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><strong>TWIN KIDD<\/strong><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"\"><strong>\u2019s<\/strong><\/a> euphoric, blissful Pop will be echoing through Rough Trade on Wednesday. Stef\u2019s ambient vocal delicately placed over steady electronic beats make for <\/span>beautiful soundscapes that will leave you uplifted.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Last but not least are Alt Rockers, <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>THE VARLETTS<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The band got some love from one of their idols <strong>The Cribs<\/strong> on Twitter the other day, saying they love the guitars and spoken word parts. I mean &#8211; that&#8217;s pretty cool!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Rough Trade<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wednesday 3rd April<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 7pm<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Entry: Free<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>THURSDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <a href=\"\"><strong>NTSU Music Society<\/strong><\/a> have grabbed some of their fave artists from across Notts, including:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>ALICE SHORT<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, who has just released a brand new EP called \u2018<em>Frantic Dreams, The Harshest Nightmares<\/em>\u2019 which has had brilliant reviews from the likes of LeftLion. Get down to see her incredible poetic Rap.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>ELMZ<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will also be there. He won Def Jam Rap Starz\u2019s national contest for songwriting when he was 16. Can\u2019t argue with that.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><strong>LUKE PETER FOSTER<\/strong><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"\"><strong>\u2019s<\/strong><\/a> smooth spoken word over some top-class instrumentals will have you feeling all chilled out and cosy inside with his infatuation with rain.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>CERTIFIED BLOOD &amp; FAMILY <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will be bringing some of their MCs down for the evening. The likes of <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>FONZSE<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><a href=\";fref=nf\"><b>OMIE OMZ<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>POET<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will be showing you mind blowing performances.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>MOTORMOUF<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the half man, half beatbox machine will be there. His sick flows and beats will have you on the edge of your seats (although you\u2019ll probably be standing). May have ~accidentally rhymed there.
