This week there is not one, but three EP launches all in the space of two days. You\u2019re gonna have to be running from <a href=\"\"><strong>The Bodega<\/strong><\/a>, the <a href=\"\"><strong>Rock City Basement<\/strong><\/a> and back quite a few times this weekend.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>FRIDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"%20gadd\"><b>GEORGE GADD<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is having a party at <strong>The Bodega<\/strong> on Friday to celebrate his sorta recent (if you class Jan as recent) EP release \u2018<em>Better Shape<\/em>.\u2019 He sounds a bit like a proper Notts Frank Turner, with even more catchyness. And apparently he really likes kebabs, so ya know, good guy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>ELLIE KEEGAN <\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will be returning home from Liverpool to perform her looped Acoustic Pop. The Mansfield gal is currently studying at LIPA (fancy). She\u2019s just released her debut single \u2018<em>Heat<\/em>.\u2019 You won\u2019t be able to stop yourself singing along to the \u2018ayay ayaaaay\u2019 (ya know what I mean).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>KATE AUBURN<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"\">\u2019s<\/a> beautifully delicate Acoustic Folk voice might sound familiar. As well as playing loads of solo gigs over the years, you may have heard her old band <\/span><b>HEARTS<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Kate\u2019s also recently featured on a track with <\/span><b><a href=\"\">THE FLAVELLS<\/a>.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Plus, \u2018secret guests\u2019 (aka the worst kept secret ever)<\/span><a href=\"\"><b> THE BREAKFAST CLUB<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will be getting together for their last ever show together.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>The Bodega<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Friday 19th May<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 7pm<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Entry: \u00a35.75<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>SATURDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>JOSEPH KNIGHT<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is releasing his second EP \u2018<em>Rediscover<\/em>\u2019 at <strong>The Bodega<\/strong> on Saturday. The EP was produced by and also features his pal, <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>LOWRIE<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Their incredible harmonies go together better than bread and butter. Their joint songwriting is definitely a tearjerker. Imagine how cryable their individual song-writing is and times by two. Prepare to arm yourselves with waterproof mascara and a shit ton of tissues.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>ELANA<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is no stranger to The Bodega, having recently supported <\/span><b>Victoria<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> there. <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>ELANA\u2019s<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> haunting vocals leave rooms enchanted. Her voice grabbed the attention of <\/span><b>Nina Nesbitt <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in 2015, which led Nina to choose her to support her at one of her shows.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>MATT HUMPHRIES <\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">strong vocal and almost aggressive (in a good way) acoustic guitar playing will move the room from being on the verge of tears to getting you dancing with some funky Acoustic Pop. Be set for a roller-coaster of emotions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>CHLOE RODGERS <\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">left us all in awe at her future session recording last week with her incredible vocals and flawless performances. You might have heard her voice on an advert for your fave biscuit company, <strong>Oreo<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>The Bodega<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Saturday 20th May,<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 7pm<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Entry: \u00a35.75 adv, \u00a37 otd<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>SATURDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>HARKEN<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are celebrating the release of their much-anticipated debut EP \u2018<em>A Feeling of Uncertainty<\/em>\u2019. The band formed back in 2015, making Post Hardcore Alternative Rock which packs a punch filled to the brim with passion and emotion, that you can help but harken to (Get it? Funny lol.). <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Support comes from <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>MANNEQUIN<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The band have been making psychedelic, grunge punk rock for a good few years now with a chemistry that allows each of the band members\u2019 skills to shine. We\u2019re waiting for some new music from the band, so fingers crossed we\u2019ll hear some at <strong>Rock City<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>SUPER FURNITURE<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> have been some right busy bees recently. Last weekend saw them play INFL\u2019s MaraFUN on Saturday day, headline<strong> The Bodega<\/strong> on Saturday evening and then absolutely smash their performance as special guests for FSN2017 at <a href=\"\"><strong>Rock City<\/strong><\/a>.
