Photo Credit: Sam Lindley<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There\u2019s tons going off in Notts this week. The Top Three was a tough decision. There\u2019s a debut headline show at Rough Trade, a final goodbye at Rough Trade and Nottingham\u2019s biggest festival of the year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>WEDNESDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>IN HINDSIGHT<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2019s first ever headline show is taking place at <\/span><b>Rough Trade<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on Wednesday evening. A brand new project from Michael Newcombe, he makes RnB taking influence from Trey Songz to NSYNC. Sounds like our Sam\u2019s idea of heaven. His latest single \u2018Body &amp; Mind\u2019 shows an impressive falsetto and has a proper nice groove.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Rough Trade<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wednesday 19th July<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 7pm<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Entry \u00a35<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>FRIDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>MANNEQUIN<\/b><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">are playing their last ever gig this Friday at <\/span><b>Rough Trade<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The Psychedelic, Grunge trio (with cool as fuck matching leather jackets) have made some incredible tracks over the years and their final track \u2018Diamond Tears\u2019 is no different. They\u2019ve said this isn\u2019t the end of the three of them writing together, but the loss of <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>MANNEQUIN<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is a sad one for the Nottingham music scene.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Support comes from the \u2018death electronica\u2019 duo <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>BONE CULT<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The tattoo covered, masked duo have a guitar heavy sound laden over electronica and a synthesized vocal. And that doesn\u2019t even consider their live set which features an incredible light show.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Lumer<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from Hull are headlining the night.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Rough Trade<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Friday 21st July<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 7pm<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Entry: Free<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>SATURDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nottingham\u2019s biggest festival of the year is gracing us on Saturday. As well as the likes of Kaiser Chiefs, Busted, Tony Hadley and Billy Ocean, there are 10 Nottingham artists taking to the Splendour Stage.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Stage:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Opening the festival are the FSN Champs <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>BROTHERHOOD<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Insanely catchy pop songs with an unsurpressable urge to sing your heart out to. They have some super dedicated fans, so expect it to get rowdy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Also on the mainstage is the incredible <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>GEORGIE<\/b><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">who is no stranger to huge stages, after supporting <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>JAKE BUGG<\/b><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and <\/span><b>Blossoms<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. But she\u2019s coming back to her hometown for a special performance at Wollaton.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Confetti Stage:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>JOSH WHEATLEY<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will be taking to the Confetti Stage and making the crowd chant \u2018Shiver, Shiver\u2019 and \u2018Oh ah oh ah oh.\u2019 The new track \u2018Shiver\u2019 is an Indie-Pop anthem with dark lyrics but an uplifting feel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>BUD<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2019s summery Reggae Pop is perfect for a (fingers, toes, legs, arms crossed) sunny day at the Confetti Stage. You might recognise her super catchy song \u2018City Bird\u2019 from Radio 1 or 1Xtra where it\u2019s had a lotta love.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Acoustic Rooms Stage:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>BILLIE<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is opening the Acoustic Rooms Stage on Saturday. She\u2019s an Acoustic Rooms veteran, having her debut EP launch there last year. <strong><a href=\"\">BILLIE<\/a><\/strong>\u2019s been taking some time out to focus on some new material and we can\u2019t wait to hear her new sound.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>YOUNG T &amp; BUGSEY<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> have had a pretty cool few months. They\u2019ve played Wireless, been on stage at Rock City with Stormzy and now Bieber loves \u2018em.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>LISA HENDRICKS<\/b><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will be playing the Acoustic Rooms Stage after coming runner up in FSN2016. Her incredible, Reggae and Soul influenced vocal will leave you bopping a long and feeling chilled.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>UNKNOWN ERA<\/b><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will be making a beautiful racket at Splendour, and causing a riot to breakout in the courtyard. A family friendly riot, of course. That riot Kaiser Chiefs predicted 10 years ago has all been leading up to this.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>JIMI MACK<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is fresh from the release of his debut EP \u2018Familiar Horizons\u2019 last month.
