Photo Credit:\u00a0<\/b>Simeon Boys-laton.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This week there\u2019s a debut show at <\/span><b>Rough Trade<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, an electronic festival happening on Broad Street and two support slots at one of Nottingham\u2019s most legendary venues.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>FRIDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Friday sees <strong><a href=\"\">LUNAH<\/a><\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a music producer and DJ, put on his first show at <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>Rough Trade<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. You might recognise\u00a0<strong><a href=\"\">LUNAH<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0as Ben from <a href=\"\"><strong>CHROMA BAY<\/strong><\/a>. There\u2019ll be a DJ set from\u00a0<strong><a href=\"\">LUNAH<\/a><\/strong> himself and Notts flex dancer <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>Jamal Sterrett<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will be performing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The incredible <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>SAWYER<\/b><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will be performing his awe inspiring music with a practically indescribable genre. Sawyer\u2019s deep, almost haunting vocal, paired with drums and guitar whilst harmonising with female vocalist Pearl Fish will leave you in amazement.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can also catch <\/span><b>Patawawa<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from Matlock.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Rough Trade<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Friday 15th September<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 7pm<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Entry: Free<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>SATURDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"\"><strong>Broadfest<\/strong><\/a> returns for its second year, taking over 7 venues on\/in\/around Broad Street. There\u2019ll be loadsa live art, clothing stalls and street food to go alongside the electronic music festival. There\u2019ll be tons of DJ sets from some of Notts most legendary DJ&#8217;s happening throughout the day, but I\u2019m gonna give you a bit of a rundown on some of the live performances\u00a0that are happening.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>HARLEIGHBLU<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is headlining the event with an acoustic performance at <\/span><b>Broadway<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The amazing songstress will be stunning the room with her effortless, unique voice. She\u2019s played loads of festivals over the summer including supporting bloody Chaka Khan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>DAISY GODFREY<\/b><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will be on the <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>Broadway<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> stage just before <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>HARLEIGHBLU<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Her beautiful<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> vocal is filled with layers of Pop, Jazz and RnB. Her tone can make even the saddest of lyrics feel uplifting with the help of guitarist Ryan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>HASHTAGOBI<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will be on at <a href=\"\"><strong>BrewDog<\/strong><\/a>, leaving you amazed and confused at his quick witted and \u2018did he just say what I think he said?\u2019 lyrics. The super talented Nottingham Uni grad <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">dropped his debut album in <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">January talking about uni life, from student loans, going out and generally not wanting to adult, all over some insanely catchy beats.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>BENJAMIN ZIEC<\/b><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will also be playing the stage at <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>Broadway<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Benjamin\u2019s acoustic performances consist of catchy, boppy Folk with a sprinkle of Reggae.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Broad Street<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Saturday 16th September<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 6pm<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Entry: Free<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>SATURDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Two incredible Nottingham bands will be playing <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>Rock City<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on Saturday night, supporting <\/span><b>The Sherlocks<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>ASHFIELDS<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>MOWBECK<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will be fulfilling a dream of any Notts musicians (for the second time in <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>ASHFIELDS<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> case) by playing the mecca of Nottingham\u2019s music venues.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>ASHFIELDS<\/b><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">have had a crazy year so far, and it is only gonna get better. From selling out their headline show at <\/span><b>The Bodega<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, to opening the <\/span><b>Rock City<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> stage at Dot to Dot Festival, no the band are playing <\/span><b>Rock City<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for a second time before they headline <\/span><b>Rescue Rooms<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in December.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>MOWBECK<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> have had their fair share of huge moments too.
