We\u2019re gonna be straight with you, we\u2019ve a hell of a lot on these past few weeks, we might have slacked a bit on the ol\u2019 Top Three. Soz about that, don\u2019t worry we will be back on it next week! And just cause we\u2019ve been slackin, doesn\u2019t mean everyone else has been – there is an awesome line up of gigs this week.<\/span><\/p>\n

FRIDAY<\/b><\/p>\n

SHEAfriq<\/b> are a new Nottingham-based collective of artists and creative women of African heritage. Friday sees them put on a Black Future launch party at Rough Trade with some INCREDIBLE guests, right in the heart of Black History Month to celebrate the future of Black British female talent from our beloved Notts. <\/span><\/p>\n

There will be performances from <\/span>HARLIEGHBLU<\/b><\/a>, <\/span>ABII<\/b><\/a> and <\/span>JASMIN ISSAKA<\/b><\/a> and you\u2019ll be able to find out about more Black Future events happening across October and November.<\/span><\/p>\n

You\u2019ll be able to catch <\/span>LOWRIE<\/b><\/a>, <\/span>KIRK SPENCER<\/b><\/a> and <\/span>MOTORMOUF<\/b><\/a> all for free and bag yourself some 241 cocktails whilst ya at it. <\/span><\/p>\n

Last week, the Notts musical Gods gave you <\/span>Oxjam Beeston<\/b>. This week they\u2019ve moved approximately 3.4 miles North East to the city centre, to <\/span>The Orange Tree<\/b> and <\/span>Spanky Van Dykes<\/b> to be precise. Music from the all Notts line-up starts at 6pm so get down, have a boogie and know that you\u2019re giving to a fantastic cause in the process. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
