Meaning that the process of slow weight gain from excessive festive food has arrived #finally. But, this isn\u2019t a food Top Three (although, that\u2019s an idea). It\u2019s about banging local music. So, between scoffing your faces, we recommend checking out this awesome lot, who are making us feel sassy in our freshest garms, getting our musical willies out and getting our grunge on.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>FRIDAY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Does <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>HARLEIGHBLU<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> need an introduction? If attitude had a voice, it\u2019d probably (definitely) sound like <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>HARLEIGHBLU<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2019s distinct, deep, husky tone. Her unmistakable music makes us feel sassy, empowered and ready to take on the world in our freshest clobber. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>CHAI LARDEN<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>BEN HIBBERT<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> make pretty, acoustic songs about love and personal growth that send messages of positivity and good vibes. With Chai\u2019s sultry tone and Ben\u2019s perfectly placed harmonies, these two will get you humming their tunes for days on end.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You may remember <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>MOLLIE RALPH<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from the Future Session we did with her, <\/span><a href=\"\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">here<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Could they become the seventh Nottingham artist to sell out <strong>RC<\/strong>? We recommend getting some chips down ya then going along for some sometimes shocking, always fun, brilliantly bizarre tunes such as \u2018You Can\u2019t Pull a Burger\u2019 and&#8230;ahem\u2026\u2019Get Your Willy Out\u2019 (please don\u2019t). <\/span><\/p>\n<p>Support comes from\u00a0<strong><a href=\"\">THE SHRIVES<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>who\u00a0make the kind of British Indie-Rock music that will make you feel like you&#8217;re in your local having a dance and a chat about life over fags and ales.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rock City<\/strong><br \/>\nSaturday 25th November<br \/>\nDoors: 6:30pm<br \/>\nEntry: \u00a36.75<\/p>\n<p><strong>SATURDAY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Playing at\u00a0<strong>The Chameleon<\/strong> on Saturday are <a href=\"\"><strong>LUXURY STRANGER<\/strong><\/a>, who make grown up rock music that feels like it should be played out from a stadium with 1000s of people dancing around <strong>Ian Curtis<\/strong> style to lyrics like <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2018all I have to do is wrap you up in plastic and you\u2019re my little girl, big wide eyes and a jellied mind, a soul as dark as sin\u2019.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"\"><strong>THE MADELINE RUST<\/strong><\/a> will be taking us on an emotional journey with songs that pack a powerful, loud and atmospheric punch.
