So, to celebrate I think we need some awesome live music, don\u2019t you? Nice one, here\u2019s a bunch of it\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>THURSDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>Eat the Peach and Nottingham Media Festival<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are coming together this week for somethin\u2019 well special. First up &#8211; the especially important bit, they have three sick Notts artists sharing their musical goodness w\/ you. And then they also have a virtual reality booth. Yup, you can walk down Pelham Street, and quite literally walk into another reality. Madness.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SO MUSIC &#8211; kicking things off we have the joyous carnage that goes by the name of <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>UNKNOWN ERA<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. How the bloody hell they\u2019re gonna fit all of them on the tiny Bodega stage, I have no idea, but it\u2019s gonna be vibey. Expect bouncy, blissful Reggae-Ska goodness. And get ready to have a good skank too.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Next up are Indie-Poppers <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>VEGA BAY<\/b><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">who will almost definitely have you wishing it was the middle of July, as opposed to this arctic fuckery we\u2019re currently experiencing. Super-uplifting, and catchy Pop w\/ guitars. What more can you ask for?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Then &#8211; headlining we have <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>KWOLI BLACK<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The poet-turned-rapper will be serenading the Bodega with his stunning mix of Hip-Hop \/ Jazz and Funk. At Beat the Streets his set was rammed, and, for good reason. We\u2019re sure they&#8217;ll be no different. Kill it Kwoli!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>The Bodega<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thursday 8th March<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 7pm<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Price: \u00a310 \/ \u00a37.50 for students.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>FRIDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Spoken word magician <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>LUKE PETER FOSTER<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> has his biggest headline show to date this week &#8211; taking on The Bodega, with a bunch of eclectic supports. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kicking off the show is <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>HAPPYGHOST<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; often seen on stage w\/ LPF, he\u2019ll be getting the vibes all tasty with his vibrant mix of Hip-hop, Electronica, amongst other genres. And we\u2019re sure he\u2019ll be flogging some of his custom garms too. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>TEE PETERS<\/b> <\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will be bringing his chill pill Hip-Hop vibes to TB. Studying English and Creative Writing at Uni Of, he\u2019s kinda guaranteed to be a genius wordsmith i\u2019nt he? W\/ some proper smooth <\/span><b>Rejjie Snow<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">-esque vibes, he\u2019ll get you all warmed\u2026 or\u2026 err, chilled up for LPF.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>VEGA BAY<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; the Indie-Pop dreamboats are returning to the stage less than 24 hrs after they last played it, to\u2026 again, remind you that it isn\u2019t summer. Sad face. BUT &#8211; they\u2019ll probs have you forgetting that whilst ya do a lil shakey-shake to their super catchy Indie-Pop. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And then there\u2019s LPF himself. If Loyle Carner and Jamie T got nicked by some mad scientist for an experiment, then was injected w\/ James Blake\u2019s mind serum (???) LPF would probs be the result. Chilled spoken word, drizzling w\/ electronic ambience. But don\u2019t think Luke can\u2019t turn up &#8211; \u2018<em>Everyday<\/em>\u2019 is bound to get that (well supported) Bodega floor well bounceh. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>The Bodega<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Friday 9th March<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 7pm<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Price: \u00a33.30<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>SUNDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>ADY SULEIMAN\u2019s <\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">debut album <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2018Memories\u2019<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> finally gets to bless our ears this Friday &#8211; and to celebrate &#8211; the soulful genius is playing an intimate show at Rough Trade on the Sunday. The album has been a long time coming, but we\u2019re excited to see his heart-warming Soul \/ Reggae vibes all come together in one collection. And, considering he\u2019s off on tour w\/ Anne Marie, this\u2019ll probs be one of the last times you can see him in a venue this small.
