Haha. *tumbleweed*. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Anyways, shit jokes out the way, here\u2019s a bunch of awesome gigs you should go to, with or without chocolate\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>TUESDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\";hc_location=profile_browser\"><b>Notts in a Nutshell<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is back at <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>The Maze<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, as always bringing ya a bunch of ace new Notts artists to check out with them fine tabholes of yours. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kicking things off we have <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>DAVID OCHROMBEL<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Now &#8211; we appreciate it\u2019s a big statement, but he\u2019s got more than an air of Springsteen about him. That husky voice. A penchant for old-school songwriting. And very American lyrics (he\u2019s Notts though, we\u2019ve seen his bank statements!). Next up is <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>CROOKED SMILE<\/b><\/a><b>.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> A lil bit Rock-y, a lil bit Punk-y. And with a bunch of showmanship, what more can ya ask from a Rock band ay? You might even give a crooked smile (soz). Then, rounding off the night we have the swish Electro-pop sounds of <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>KOMINO<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. A two-piece, one human on the drums, and one human with more music gear than PMT (good luck at soundcheck gents)! Making super-slick catchy melodies, with a bunch of proper interesting sounds bubbling underneath. And it\u2019s only their second ever gig too. Niceeee. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Sweetness<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from Lincolnshire are also playing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Maze<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tuesday 3rd April<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Price: \u00a33<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 730pm<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>WEDNESDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>CUT THE HEROICS<\/b><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">are playing their second headline show this week at the mighty <\/span><b>Rough Trade<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kicking things off we have the EPIC <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>A HUNDRED CROWNS<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Post-hardcore-ish done very very well. Killer clean vocals. Epic guitars. Screams for daaaaays. These guys are wicked. Following we have <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>TOGETHERALONE<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> who make some ace\u2026 well, it\u2019s kinda heavy rock, but that\u2019s such a wank term. So we\u2019ll call them a really good band, with lots of guitars, and some v catchy choruses too. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And then there\u2019s <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>CUT THE HEROICS.<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Bringing Notts all the Pop-Punk vibes. Catchy riffs, and a very distinct double-vocal approach from Joe and Stephen. Whether you\u2019re a big fan of the old school Pop-Punk (ala Blink182) or you\u2019re all about the new-school. These guys have got an ace mix of both. Their ninth to be precise, and to celebrate they\u2019re throwing a vibey party over at The Maze. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From the soulful vibes of <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>NADIA RAE<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, through to the stunning songwriting of <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>GALLERY 47<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The perfect partners in crime <\/span><b>GEORGIA COPELAND &amp; <a href=\"\">NADIA LATOYA<\/a>,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to the incredible vocal of <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>ABII<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. They\u2019ve got quite the lineup together. And there\u2019s food. AND PLANTS.
