Oh, and you know how ever so often there is a week where the universe implodes and every gig is at the same venue. Yeah, that&#8217;s happened this week. And I pinky promise it&#8217;s not cos of all the pizza I eat from there. Pinky promise.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>MONDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>HAGGARD CAT<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are one of the most insane bands you\u2019ll ever see live. That may be an opinion, but it\u2019s one that\u2019s mutually shared by 98.7% of people that have seen them in their many previous forms. Now &#8211; with just two of \u2018em, Matt and Tom are making balls to the walls mental-rock that\u2019s bloody ace And BIG. And they\u2019re bringing it to RT to celebrate the launch of their debut album. Matt will probably climb on the ceiling. Tom will probs throw a drumstick at your head. You will definitely sweat. And it will defo be one of your favourite moments of the week. Maybe even the month. Or year. It\u2019ll be sick, basically. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Monday 16th April<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rough Trade Nottingham<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Price: Entry free w\/ purchase of album.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 7pm (includes album signing after live set).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>WEDNESDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Speaking of big characters &#8211; <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>DOLLIE DEMI<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is full of sass, will probs leave your ears and eyes dazzled, and will almost definitely be wearing one of the coolest jackets you\u2019ve ever seen. Somehow this is Dollie\u2019s debut Notts show (despite being a Nottingham girl), so it\u2019s a proper spesh one for her. AND she\u2019s launching her latest single at this gig too &#8211; \u2018<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">B Ur Gal<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2019, as sassy as the text speak would have you expecting it to be. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There\u2019s a killer support lineup too. Kicking things off is <\/span><b>RACHEL BURBRIDGE <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">who definitely isn\u2019t Dollie\u2019s sister. Definitely. Joining <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>J SOUL<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for some beaut acoustic vibes. Then there\u2019s <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>LUCY ALEXANDRA<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> who has been bossing the catchy Singer-Songwriter tip for years now. And pre Dollie taking to the stage, the fabulous <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>BOY BYE<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, who make Alternative Ambient Pop, and their bio says they\u2019re \u2018car dealers from Romford\u2019. Wonderfully random. As always, Notts is out in force, with tons of exclusive records for sale (obvs), but more importantly, a ton of awesome live music from local acts. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There\u2019s shizz going on all over the city, but the live highlights include Cobden Chambers who have live music courtesy of <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>I\u2019m Not From London<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and Rough Trade, who have their venue full of live music pretty much all day.
