This week\u2019s got it aaaaallllllll.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>THURSDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This Thurs eve sees <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>Women Got Talent<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> take over <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>The Maze<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. A bunch of local performers, across stand up comedy, animation, and, obvs, live music and spoken word. And they\u2019re all doing it to raise funds for the incredible work that Nottingham Women\u2019s Centre do for women around Notts. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There\u2019s quite the lineup (and a bunch of new faces too). So check out the bill\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"\"><b>HERE<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, grab a mate, and get involved for a proper good night, which helps a proper good cause. Proper. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thursday 26th April<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Maze<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Price: \u00a36.50 otd<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 7pm<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>FRIDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><b>YOU WANT FOX<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are about to release album #2 into the big wide world, and to celebrate, they\u2019re giving it the sickest launch party at <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>The Chameleon.<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kicking things off are <a href=\"\"><b>MARTY<\/b><\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0&#8211; a melodic, all-girl Pop-Folk band. Aimee, Krista and Rhianne, come together to make songs that will make you sway, bop, and almost definitely do the \u2018yup, really enjoying this\u2019 head nod. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Then, we have <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>DESENSITISED<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> who bring bad-assery, lots of guitars, plus some damn catchy choruses too. Having just had another member join \u2018em, they are now officially 50% more bad-ass, and will be bringing said bad-assery to The Chameleon. Have we mentioned they\u2019re pretty bad-ass?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And then <\/span><b><a href=\"\">YOU WANT FOX<\/a>.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> A raucous, chaotic, and bloody brilliant concoction of guitars, pop hooks, and punk-sass. As previously mentioned, this is album #2, and if it\u2019s anything like the first, it\u2019s gonna be a beautiful beast. And you know what &#8211; no matter what songs they\u2019re playing, YWF are always an incredibly engaging live band. So I can almost guarantee ya reader, ya know, I\u2019d bet a solid \u00a35.67, that you\u2019ll have a wicked night. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Friday 27th April<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Chameleon<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Price: \u00a34 adv \/ \u00a35 otd<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 8pm<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>FRIDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><strong>I\u2019m Not From Londo<\/strong><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"\"><strong>n<\/strong><\/a> are back at the<\/span><a href=\"\"><b> Fox &amp; Grapes<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (ya know, that swish pub down Sneinton Market way), with one of the best-named events we\u2019ve seen in ages &#8211; \u2018The Food of Love\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kicking off things this time is the bluesy goodness of <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>RYAN FARMER<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. We\u2019re told he\u2019s got even more tales of \u2018whiskey, women and worry\u2019, ya know, the big three W\u2019s. And we\u2019re pretty confident there\u2019ll be plenty of beefy bluesy riffs, and Ryan\u2019s incredibly unique vocal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Next up is the Folk-y Acoustic-y Pop bliss of <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>THE IDOLINS<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Whether it\u2019s the stunning melodies, instrumentation, or just vocalist Karen\u2019s incredibly resonating storytelling, they\u2019re always a captivating live band. And seeing them in this intimate of a space is gonna be well special. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Headlining we have Indie-Pop-Rockers <\/span><b><a href=\"\">DON\u2019T FORGET RUPERT<\/a>.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Take everything you love about the blissful Pop-Guitar crossover of The 1975 and similar bands, and throw it into a proper Notts package, and you get DFR. It\u2019s a mega-gig, with a crazy lineup, plus seeing the ferocious lot in RC is always special. But it\u2019s sold out, init. So unfortunately if you ain\u2019t got a ticket, you can\u2019t get in.
