Full of&#8230; guitars&#8230; and giggage.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MONDAY\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re part of the 96.7% of the population that don&#8217;t like Mondays &#8211; we have the cure for you. GET SOME RIFFY GOODNESS DOWN YA. <a href=\"\"><strong>EVA PLAYS DEAD<\/strong><\/a> have just released their new EP <em>&#8216;The Fix<\/em>&#8216;, and to celebrate they&#8217;re throwing the launch party of awesomeness at <a href=\"\"><strong>The Bodega<\/strong><\/a>. Solid riffage. Killer vocals. And hooks\u00a0for daaaaaays. Plus &#8211; some quite honest, open songwriting. It&#8217;s gonna be well special.<\/p>\n<p>Supporting we have <a href=\"\"><strong>HARKEN<\/strong><\/a>. Also masters of riffage and killer vocals. Whether you&#8217;re screaming your head off to &#8216;<em>Glory Hound&#8217;<\/em>, or moshing out to &#8216;<em>Move On<\/em>&#8216; &#8211; they&#8217;ve got songs on songs on songs. And they&#8217;re proper engaging live. Get readyyyyyy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Veridian<\/strong> from Reading and <strong>The Cruel Knives<\/strong> from Stoke On Trent are also playing.<\/p>\n<p>Monday 30th April<br \/>\nThe Bodega<br \/>\nPrice: \u00a38.80 adv<br \/>\nDoors: 6:30pm<\/p>\n<p><strong>FRIDAY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Fresh off the release of their chaotic beauty of an album &#8216;<em>Challenger<\/em>&#8216;, <a href=\";hc_location=profile_browser\"><strong>HAGGARD CAT<\/strong> <\/a>are back in Notts to bring the carnage. Where? <a href=\"\"><strong>Jam Cafe<\/strong><\/a>&#8230; yes. Jam Cafe. The v cosy space is playing home to a <a href=\";hc_location=profile_browser\"><strong>HAGGARD CAT<\/strong><\/a> show, and we&#8217;re sure their beefy, riffy goodness is gonna be blissfully badass up on that stage.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s quite the support lineup too.<a href=\";hc_location=profile_browser\"><strong> 94 GUNSHIPS<\/strong><\/a> will be performing a (slightly) stripped back set, as two of their members take to the stage for some bluesy goodness. Then there&#8217;s <strong>PIZZA SNAKES<\/strong> &#8211; we don&#8217;t know much about them, but they describe themselves as &#8216;a Nottingham Rave Punk Party machine&#8217;, so we&#8217;re super intrigued. And then, pre those cats of haggard, we have <a href=\";hc_location=profile_browser\"><strong>BONE CULT<\/strong><\/a>. Bringing the Death-Electronica vibes to JC. Will their lights even fit on the stage? Who knows? Gonna be sick anyways&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Friday 4th May<br \/>\nJam Cafe<br \/>\nPrice: free<br \/>\nDoors: 7pm<\/p>\n<p><strong>SUNDAY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"><strong>CROSSLIGHT<\/strong><\/a> are releasing their debut album this week and &#8211; similar to them clever humans in EPD, they&#8217;re throwing a mega launch party at the good ship <a href=\";hc_location=profile_browser\"><strong>Bodega<\/strong><\/a>. Vibey, energetic Rock with plenty of pop sensibility. Topped with a good helping of distortion and thrashing from multiple humans in the band. We&#8217;ve heard a few singles from this lot &#8211; and if the album is anything like them, it&#8217;s gonna be a guitar-filled paradise.<\/p>\n<p>Kicking things off we have <a href=\"\"><strong>HUNG DADDY<\/strong><\/a>. Yup. <a href=\"\"><strong>HUNG DADDY<\/strong><\/a>. &#8216;The best worst band you&#8217;ll ever hear&#8217; &#8211; that&#8217;s the way they&#8217;re described. I&#8217;ll let you find out the rest.
