I saw these guys do an Acoustic set the other week and they had the whole room giggling away to their set.

THE GOLDEN TROUBADOURS are also playing this fresh from their EP launch. Expect a variation of beautiful melodies to fly around the room with the odd slide guitar here and there, complimented nicely by soulful vocals.

SOFA KING are a three-piece “Scientist Rock” outfit with upbeat catchy lyrics and cheerful Jazz melodies. They are taking on the competition with tracks from their new Sofa King Tape EP which has lots of positive reviews under its belt.

Also competing are newcomers SLAM DOUBT, who fit nicely into the thriving Hardcore/Punk category. Setting standards high by listing their influences as cult bands NOFX and Rise Against, and promising “sweet music, again and again”. Oh, go on then.

Indie rockers RUCKUS will be proving their worth with modern, catchy tracks which have earned them a following on the Nottingham pub circuit over the past three years.
