What a wonderful time to be alive. x<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>MONDAY <\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chicago boy, turned Notts resident, <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>JOEY COSTELLO <\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is launching his sophomore EP this week and to celebrate, he\u2019s taking over Acoustic Rooms for the eve. If you\u2019re unfamiliar with JC, he makes some stunning Folk-music, with more than a touch of Soul to it. And a sprinkling of nostalgic Emo bands like <strong>City and Colour<\/strong> \/ <strong>Augustana<\/strong>. From what we&#8217;ve heard of the EP, it&#8217;s sounding super spesh, so we can&#8217;t wait to see how it translates live.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Supporting is <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>MOLLIE RALPH<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with her beaut Pop-Folk sounds, and her banging belter of a voice. As someone not versed in the vocabulary of vocals\u00a0 I\u2019ll just say her voice is like the musical equivalent of some really nice chocolate. Smooth, impressive, and it makes you feel happy inside. Yeahhhhh.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Oh, and there\u2019s an open mic too hosted by <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>LAURIE ILLINGWORTH<\/b><\/a><b>,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> which already has a bunch of awesome signups. Get. On. David is a Bluesy genius, who crafts beaut layered effects with his distinct husky vocal to make a sound that feels totally unique. And as he\u2019s releasing his musical baby into the world, we\u2019re sure he\u2019ll be putting on an epic performance too. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There\u2019s a mega support lineup too. <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>BONBIN\u00d4ME<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> kick things off with their insanely beautiful harmonies, and haunting melodies. <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>BEN MARK SMITH<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is rocking up to bring you some awesome Folk-y goodness. And it\u2019s not just for girls\u2026 reckon they\u2019ve heard that joke before?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you\u2019re unfamiliar, FTG make these BIG guitar Pop anthems. Kinda like <strong>The 1975<\/strong> and <strong>Circa Waves<\/strong> had a proper Notts baby.
