FRIDAY<\/b><\/p>\n

BEN MARK SMITH <\/b><\/a>is launching his debut EP this week, and to celebrate he\u2019s throwing a lil shindig down at The Running Horse<\/strong><\/a> with two ace supports.\u00a0<\/span>First up is the giggity gigger that is <\/span>GEORGE GADD<\/b><\/a>. Serious – this guy took a holiday a few weeks ago, and still somehow seems to have played more gigs than anyone else in Notts this past month. Respect G, respect. And then there\u2019s <\/span>PRETTY BABS<\/b><\/a> – who, yes, will be delivering a full band set to get your energy amped right the fuck up. Then there\u2019s Ben – a genius singer-songwriter. Telling tales of things that every human can relate to, and wrapping them all up in a bunch of beaut finger picked goodness. <\/span><\/p>\n

SATURDAY<\/b><\/p>\n

DISTANT BLUE <\/b><\/a>are absolutely bossing the Pop-Punk game right now. Putting on killer show after killer show, and releasing anthemic mosh-tastic banger after banger. So, what better way to celebrate their progressive awesomeness than a headliner at <\/span>The Bodega<\/b><\/a>? That\u2019s what they\u2019re doing this Saturday w\/ <\/span>Ike Productions<\/b>, and it\u2019s shaping up to be well tasty.<\/span><\/p>\n

Then there\u2019s <\/span>SUPER FURNITURE<\/b><\/a> – a band that are bloody hard to describe – but very good at making heavy bops with very catchy melodies. And, have we ever mentioned how good they are at rocking out. Hair flicks on demand. Beautiful. <\/span><\/p>\n

Notts Factor<\/strong><\/a> – the annual event that brings a bunch of Notts\u2019 finest across the genres together at <\/span>Rescue Rooms<\/b><\/a> is back this Sunday. All competing for some mega prizes (including 500 squid)!! The lineup isn\u2019t actually out yet (announced on Tuesday), but based on the previous years\u2019 killer lineups – we\u2019re sure it\u2019s gonna be a banger. Plus, there is a guest appearance from last years winner – the stunning acoustic sounds of <\/span>KELSEY SHAW<\/b><\/a>, so there\u2019s a guarantee you\u2019re gonna have something lovely for your ears. Plus\u00a0its free. And what else do you do on a Sunday, ay? <\/span><\/p>\n
