WEDNESDAY<\/b><\/p>\n

SOFT GIRLS & BOYS CLUB<\/b><\/a> is not the name of a play area for children but in fact the name of a v v talented bunch of gentlemen that make Indie that serenades every part of your soul that likes long-haired boys with guitars. I mean, the event description even has the phrase \u2018sex grooves\u2019 in it – so ya always know its gonna be magical.<\/span><\/p>\n

Supporting are the majestic musical beasts in <\/span>DO NOTHING<\/a>.<\/b> A band that we\u2019ve seen in their many forms over the years, and still, somehow they continue to blow our minds everytime we see them. Big wall of sound vibes. Destructive stage presence. And a vocal that hasn\u2019t left our mind crevices since it entered. Mind crevice. What a phrase.<\/span><\/p>\n

Also supporting are<\/span> Lafayette Regency f<\/b>rom Clermont-Ferrand. Yes, France.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nottingham\u2019s finest \u2018RnBeeston-ers\u2019 have just popped out a banger of a new single – and to celebrate they\u2019re throwing a shindiggy dig down at <\/span>Bodega<\/b><\/a> to celebrate. RnBeeston aint just a witty play on words, its a pretty good genre description too of <\/span>NACTUS KUNAN<\/b><\/a>. They\u2019re a bit rnb-y. Very Notts-y. And then there\u2019s a proper mish-mash of brilliant musical influences thrown in for good measure. And they\u2019re named after a rare species of lizard, so, ya know, that\u2019s interesting too. <\/span><\/p>\n

Supporting are <\/span>MEGATRAIN<\/b><\/a> – the brilliant and slightly odd (in the best way possible) new project from Tiger and Felix M-B. Theatrical, singer-songwriter-y with a bit of electronic bliss on top. Hard to explain. Listen, init. Also supporting are <\/span>SHIFTWORK<\/b><\/a> – who describe themselves as an \u2018Alternative Art Punk\u2019 band and this is one of those situations where I\u2019m gonna let that description do the talking. Cos it sums them up perfectly. <\/span><\/p>\n

Whether you\u2019re dancing, getting battered, or just wandering the aesthetically pleasing streets, you\u2019re contributing to making a lot of peoples lives better and you\u2019ll have an absolutely booty-ful time whilst doing so. Yes, Hockley Hustle<\/strong><\/a> is back.<\/span><\/p>\n

Obvs there is no way we can do justice to everyone playing the fest in this preview. We can tell ya there\u2019s some v special musical moments going on. The 60 Piece <\/span>UFO ORCHESTRA <\/b>return with <\/span>NINA SMITH<\/a>, NATALIE DUNCAN<\/a><\/b> and more, the legendary <\/span>PETEBOX<\/b><\/a> is teaming up with <\/span>MR SWITCH<\/b><\/a> for a headline <\/span>Bodega<\/b><\/a> set, and\u2026 oh, there\u2019s just so much going on yano. Get your ticket. Have a bit of a dance. And when you remember you can\u2019t dance, buy a Red Stripe, it is for charity after all. <\/span><\/p>\n
