X<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>THURSDAY <\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\";set=gm.1467153513417075&amp;type=3&amp;theater\"><b>Sue Ryder<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; that well nice vintage \/ charity shop down opposite 31K (you do know the banging place with the meatballs, right?), are throwing a festive fundraiser in store this Thursday &#8211; and there\u2019s a nut-cracking (ha) xmas lineup waiting for ya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>A SOFT BOY<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; aka, Ben Webster, frontman of <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>SOFT GIRLS &amp; BOYS CLUB<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, will be kicking tings off with a beaut stripped back solo set. Proper unique, and defo not cos the rest of the band are off getting pissed in a xmas hat. Promise. Then, <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>MEGATRAIN<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; the eccentric, and bloody wonderful collab project between Tiger and Felix MB. Spacey, electronic-y, full of beaut vocals-y goodness. Ahhh. And then there\u2019s <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>DO NOTHING<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> who are basically gonna blow the walls of SR with their Art-Rock which lends itself more than nicely to a good old fashioned rock out. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thursday 13th December<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sue Ryder<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Price: free, but donations encouraged.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 6pm.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>FRIDAY <\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jangly, slightly odd (but in an almost euphoric way), and v catchy &#8211; that\u2019s probably a pretty good summary of <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>SUNDAZE<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. They\u2019ll get your eardrums and move-able body parts bopping, and then have ya shouting their hooks back at ya (though unfortunately you don\u2019t have effect pedals, so maybs keep it a few db lower, yeah?) This is an EP launch &#8211; so expect lots of new tunes, and lots of happy faces.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Support comes from\u00a0<\/span><b>MOON<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and<\/span><b> THE SEL FOUNDATION.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Two relatively new artists &#8211; who don\u2019t have too much out on that interweb thing about them. Though &#8211; the event page says that the former are full of \u201cpower and energy\u201d, and the latter, they\u2019re \u201cexotic and hypnotic\u201d. Which, yeah, intrigues us too!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Katie Pham &amp; The Moonbathers<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from Sheffield will also be playing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Friday 14th December<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Bodega<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Price: \u00a35.50<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 7pm<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>SATURDAY <\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Every December, Pop-Alt-Rock heroes <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>LACEY<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> throw an annual xmas shindig full of beaut melodies, a good old fashioned mosh-along, and lots of\u2026 well, christmas shit. As ya may have noticed, it is that festive time of year again &#8211; so they\u2019re back at <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>Rock City <\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">basement this time to get ya vocal chords\u2026 and limbs, all in the festive spirit. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Supporting are <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>SHADOWS LIKE STRANGERS<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>THE HALF EIGHT<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. SLS &#8211; they\u2019re a band that are very good at aggressive, anthemic Alt-Rock. Rammed with melody. And then THE (that\u2019s an acronym, btw), they\u2019re absolute bossmen at the super catchy Pop hook singalong. Ahh, what a lineup. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Saturday 15th December<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rock City<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Price: \u00a38 adv<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 7pm<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yours in Love of New Music,<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sam Nahirny x<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>PS<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; This week sees <a href=\"\"><strong>Nottingham Music Hub<\/strong><\/a>, and <a href=\"\"><strong>Insipre Youth Arts<\/strong><\/a> throw their annual Christmas concerts. They&#8217;re both very wholesome, very heart-warming experiences, where ya can see a bunch of awesome tunes from the students of Notts. All whilst feeling proper festive. Grab a mulled wine and say hello.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>PPS &#8211;<\/b> <a href=\"\"><b>YOUNG T &amp; BUGSEY<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> make Nistory this Tuesday as they play a sold out, headline <strong>Rescue Rooms<\/strong> show. If you\u2019ve got your ticket, its gonna be vibeeeeeeyyyyy. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>PPPS<\/strong> &#8211; <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>BROTHERHOOD<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are back for a second time at<\/span><b> Rescue Rooms <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">this Saturday, post selling the venue out last December.
