An album launch, an annual charity party, plus a BIG reunion. We ain\u2019t slowing down yet yo. x<\/span><\/p>\n

WEDNESDAY<\/b><\/p>\n

Creative all-round megaman <\/span>ARCHIE<\/b><\/a> has just dropped a new album for those ear-holes of yours, and to celebrate, he\u2019s throwing a launch party at<\/span> Rough Trade<\/a>. <\/b>The album is well diverse – \u00a0touching on Grime, Dancehall, Pop and more – so we expect it\u2019s gonna be quite vibey. We also expect a reload or two\u2026 <\/span><\/p>\n

And then there\u2019s the mega support lineup. He\u2019s got his whole crew together, meaning there\u2019s sets from,\u00a0<\/span>K.JI<\/a>, NEBULA<\/a>, MK-TENTIAL <\/a><\/b>and<\/span> EMILIO. <\/b>All crazy talented MC\u2019s in their own right – paired with the mad energy having them all in one room will bring – it\u2019s gonna be hyped. Trust us. <\/span><\/p>\n

THURSDAY<\/b><\/p>\n

This week sees the return of <\/span>The Old Nottinghamian’s Society\u2019s <\/b><\/a>annual xmas charity gig – this time raising money for an iMRI machine, to help improve care for premature and newborn babies in Nottingham.<\/span><\/p>\n

Like usual – helping raise dollar for that cause are a bunch of awesome Notts musicians. Kicking things off will be some beautiful kora harp (as in, the instrument) from <\/span>JUST JUDE<\/b><\/a> to ease ya in nicely. <\/span>IZZY CARLIN<\/a>\u00a0<\/b>is back again, this time hooking up with <\/span>LUKE GAUL<\/b><\/a> to bring some powerful singalong acoustic vibes. <\/span>MATT HUMPHRIES<\/b><\/a>, another regular of the event who year after year stuns with his killer vocal and loop-pedal wizardry. And then topping it all off is potentially the most charismatic man in Nottingham, Mr <\/span>ROB GREEN<\/b><\/a>, bringing all the happy R&B tinged Pop you could ever ask for. <\/span><\/p>\n

Well well – this is special init? To help raise funds for the\u00a0<\/span>With Lee We Fight<\/strong><\/a> campaign, <\/span>Phlexx<\/b><\/a> are putting on an xmas show. Already sweet enough, right? WELL – on top of that, they\u2019ve only gone and reunited <\/span>THE AFTERDARK MOVEMENT<\/b><\/a> for a one off show. Yeaaaah boy! The party Hip-Hop, Funk, Pop, Genre-blenders are getting back together to throw one hell of a party, and all in the name of charity. Nice one. <\/span><\/p>\n

There\u2019s also some bangers in the support department too. <\/span>MK-TENTIAL<\/b><\/a> kicks things off (fresh from playing the EP launch on Wed), bringing his unique take on Hip-Hop and Grime. And then there\u2019s <\/span>SOFT GIRLS AND BOYS CLUB<\/b><\/a> getting us all spaced out with their funk-y Psych-Rock too.<\/span><\/p>\n
