Haunting sounds, space-y shoegaze-y sounds, plus some grunge goodness – another sick week of Notts giggity gigs. x<\/span><\/p>\n

WEDNESDAY<\/b><\/p>\n

The haunting and eclectic sounds of <\/span>RE TEU<\/b><\/a> make their way to <\/span>Rough Trade <\/b><\/a>this week. For a showcase of all the magical, soothing, and at times moving creations he has\u2026 well, created. An intense, and at times beautiful (the music, but ya know, he\u2019s alright too) performer – it\u2019s quite an experience seeing <\/span>RE TEU <\/b><\/a>live.<\/span><\/p>\n

Plus, he\u2019s bringing a bunch of his talented mates with him too. <\/span>RORY CANNON<\/b><\/a> is up first with his atmospheric acoustic vibes. And then two-piece<\/span> VINCENT VAIN <\/b><\/a>take to the stage to dazzle those eardrums of yours w\/ some lovely Jazzy-tinged Indie sounds. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Shoegaze superstars <\/span>SPOTLIGHT KID <\/b><\/a>are back after a three-year hiatus. Why? Obvs to play a gig at their spiritual home – <\/span>The Maze<\/a>. <\/b>A spacey, mind-bending, whilst still at times funky-feet inducing concoction of sounds – if they\u2019ve got three years of pent up performance frustration in \u2018em, you know this show is gonna be a banger-ooney. \u00a0The event is called \u2018Spotlight Kid + Support\u2019, so, ya know, there\u2019s probs gonna be\u2026 support, but we can\u2019t find the support. Cos the support hasn\u2019t been announced yet. Did we mention support?<\/span><\/p>\n

Your favourite Grunge-warriors (<\/span>KAGOULE<\/b><\/a>) are back in their hometown – and this time they\u2019re grunge-ing up a well cool venue – <\/span>Dizzy Ink <\/b><\/a>– yeah, the print studio! We last saw \u2018em on NYE (yurrrrp) and they continue to blow our little minds with their live presence, and obvs them mad hooks. Maybe we can get a print of Cai\u2019s face for our living room. That\u2019d be nice. ANYWAYS\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

Supports – the brass-y, eccentric-y, and all round incredible live-y <\/span>SLUMB PARTY<\/b><\/a> are on the lineup too. One of the most mental (in the best way possible) live bands you\u2019ll ever see, prepare yourself for the chaos. And then there\u2019s <\/span>BLESSED TWINS <\/b>– who we can\u2019t find much about online, and our Sherlock Holmes attempts brought us to some slightly concerning adult websites – so we\u2019re gonna stop there, but say if <\/span>KAGOULE<\/b><\/a> rate \u2018em, they\u2019re probs ace.<\/span><\/p>\n
