Photo Credit:<\/strong> Unknown<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Haunting sounds, space-y shoegaze-y sounds, plus some grunge goodness &#8211; another sick week of Notts giggity gigs. x<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>WEDNESDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The haunting and eclectic sounds of <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>RE TEU<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> make their way to <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>Rough Trade <\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">this week. For a showcase of all the magical, soothing, and at times moving creations he has\u2026 well, created. An intense, and at times beautiful (the music, but ya know, he\u2019s alright too) performer &#8211; it\u2019s quite an experience seeing <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>RE TEU <\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">live.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Plus, he\u2019s bringing a bunch of his talented mates with him too. <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>RORY CANNON<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is up first with his atmospheric acoustic vibes. And then two-piece<\/span><a href=\"\"><b> VINCENT VAIN <\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">take to the stage to dazzle those eardrums of yours w\/ some lovely Jazzy-tinged Indie sounds. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rough Trade Nottingham<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wednesday 6th February<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Price: free<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 7pm<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>FRIDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Shoegaze superstars <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>SPOTLIGHT KID <\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">are back after a three-year hiatus. Why? Obvs to play a gig at their spiritual home &#8211; <\/span><b><a href=\"\">The Maze<\/a>. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A spacey, mind-bending, whilst still at times funky-feet inducing concoction of sounds &#8211; if they\u2019ve got three years of pent up performance frustration in \u2018em, you know this show is gonna be a banger-ooney. \u00a0The event is called \u2018Spotlight Kid + Support\u2019, so, ya know, there\u2019s probs gonna be\u2026 support, but we can\u2019t find the support. Cos the support hasn\u2019t been announced yet. Did we mention support?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Maze<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Friday 8th February<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Price: \u00a35.50<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doors: 7pm<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>SATURDAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Your favourite Grunge-warriors (<\/span><a href=\"\"><b>KAGOULE<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) are back in their hometown &#8211; and this time they\u2019re grunge-ing up a well cool venue &#8211; <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>Dizzy Ink <\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; yeah, the print studio! We last saw \u2018em on NYE (yurrrrp) and they continue to blow our little minds with their live presence, and obvs them mad hooks. Maybe we can get a print of Cai\u2019s face for our living room. That\u2019d be nice. ANYWAYS\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Supports &#8211; the brass-y, eccentric-y, and all round incredible live-y <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>SLUMB PARTY<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are on the lineup too. One of the most mental (in the best way possible) live bands you\u2019ll ever see, prepare yourself for the chaos. And then there\u2019s <\/span><b>BLESSED TWINS <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; who we can\u2019t find much about online, and our Sherlock Holmes attempts brought us to some slightly concerning adult websites &#8211; so we\u2019re gonna stop there, but say if <\/span><a href=\"\"><b>KAGOULE<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> rate \u2018em, they\u2019re probs ace.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Dizzy Ink<br \/>\nSaturday 9th February<br \/>\nPrice: \u00a36.60<br \/>\nDoors: 7pm<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yours in Love of New Music,<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sam Nahirny x<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PS &#8211; This Friday is Notts\u2019 annual \u2018Light Night\u2019, meaning there\u2019s a bunch of slick creative visual things going off all \u2018bout the city.
