Fancy a night of Notts R&B, Funk, Soul, and a sprinkling of Indie, all for charity? Nice one – cos Music of the Night has you sorted this Monday. Raising money for Nightline, at Rough Trade<\/strong>.<\/a> You\u2019ve got everything from the beefy Arctic Monkey-esque badaddery in THE AVION<\/a>,<\/strong> through to the super slick, soulful, almost JT-esque sounds of JAMES LETTA<\/strong><\/a>. And what else ya gonna do on a Monday, ay? So, go help charity, have a wiggle, and enjoy your Monday – that\u2019s what they\u2019re for, init.<\/span><\/p>\n

Of course it does – it sounds fucking amazing – and that\u2019s exactly what you can expect from REVENGE OF CALCULON\u2019s<\/strong> <\/a>single launch at Rough Trade this Saturday. They\u2019ve teamed up with the beatbox magician \/ word wizard that is MOTORMOUF<\/strong><\/a> on a single, and they\u2019re putting on a night together to celebrate the launch. It will be mental, in the best way. Come thruuuu. <\/span><\/p>\n

The jangly-geniuses in SUNDAZE<\/strong><\/a> have a new single ready for your eardrums, and to celebrate – they\u2019re throwing a sunny lil shindig down at Rough Trade.<\/span><\/p>\n

The single \u2018Mirror Ball<\/em>\u2019 – which – was worked on by fucking Darwin Deez, is a happy, ear-pleasing jangly (yes we will use that word a lot) Indie piece of bliss. And it\u2019s off an upcoming EP, full of similarly blissful pieces of janglyness. So, why don\u2019t ya head down and jangle ya bits about? That is not meant to sound as dodge as it does. <\/span><\/p>\n

Support comes from MOON<\/strong> and POINTS OF VIEW<\/strong><\/a>. The former making Shoe-Gazey-ish goodness with a Poppy shine, and the latter, the latest project of CAMERON SINCLAIR HARRIS<\/strong><\/a>, this time a lot more Punk-y, but still w\/ that indie sheen that we love Cam for. <\/span><\/p>\n
